Deleted UserI've been playing adventure games for well over 15 years and I don'yt think I've ever ordered twice by mistake.

However somewhat differently, I've got some old games such as DOTT & Indy Atlantis on floppy disks, diskettes, CDs, and (since LucasArts added absolutely NO copy protections) stored on a DVD.
I can no longer read the floppies since I have no drive, and I can only read the diskettes on my oldest of 3 computers for the same reason.
I additionally have both the abovementioned 2 games on compilations.

( I do have more than one CD-game in 3 or 4 copies sent to me without requesting from extra-kind developers whose games I have tested. )

.

I think the most copies I've had of a single retail AG title (The Curse of Monkey Island) was four.

There was the original retail copy plus a replacement that turned out not to be needed after all. Then there was another copy as part of a special LucasArts Classic AG pack and finally a fourth that was included on a special PC Gamer Magazine promotional CD.

I've since given away two of them, but still have the original individual retail CD and the classic collection.

Cheers, Terry

To bring the thread back on topic, I was wondering when JA were going to be putting out their review.

I see there is a demo available, so once I've done Overclocked, I'll give it a try. Pity the demo only works for an hour. I'd have to find a peaceful uninterrupted hour for that - or does the timer only run while you are in the game, and stop when you exit, enabling you to continue later?
Oh, and is the full game 80MB?

I will have to check this out too.

We need to start another thread but what do you think of Overclocked?

I personally enjoyed Overclocked very much. There is a lot of FMV action, and if you do play it, make sure that you copy the FMV file to your hard drive, as the sequences take long to stream from your DVD drive.

It takes a while to figure out what you have to do to have the game advance at a reasonable pace, but once you've figured it out, it becomes very interesting, and it was quite tense for me, almost right until the ending.  I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys modern thrillers.

Thanks, I have played it too. I agree and  felt about the same about it.
Sorry about getting off the subject here.
