You certainly have nothing to apologize to us for Bethany. We're just happy to provide some extra support and a place where you can express your feelings without fear of being judged.
Take Care, Terry

I just know you will find the strength within you to eventually get through it. In the meantime, we have lots of shoulders for you to cry on around here, and it sounds like your family also loves you a lot, even though they are also hurting at this time, and struggling with their own grief. Hang in there girl, and don't apologise to anyone.
Here's a little hug for you: *hug* :-*

I am SO very sorry to hear this terrible news. :'( Your mom talked about you alot and loved you dearly. Sometimes she had some pretty good stories and has cracked me up on more than one occasion. I remember the incident and pictures about the peeping tom and how pissed she was. Also how scared she was when you got your license. She had a way of "expressing" herself that I could really relate to.
I havent been around to much and didnt know until Caroline e-mailed me. I just wanted to offer my condolences and tell you that she will be missed terribly. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Take care, Helen

You have a friend in me . I was shocked to hear of your Mother's passing . I wept deeply realizing the world lost something golden . I had the pleasure of knowing your Mom , Bethany . I certainly didn't know her as well as others here . I did know her , though . I recall every thread we talked about . We talked quite a bit . Michelle ... was truly one in a billion . She was Gamergal . I'm so sorry for your loss , Bethany . I don't have the words . Please try to be strong .
Always ,
Sam ( Allanon )

I wonder if nurses spend so much time taking care of other people that they pay little or no attention to their own welfare.
She had a great sense of humor. I remember the peeping Tom, an old van (or car), and her recovery from a car accident. So sad.
I wish comfort for her daughter, siblings and rest of her family.
I hope everyone else here is healthy and happy. I don't visit here that often anymore but it's not because of the company. You are all good people. There is now just one less one.

Status : Online | I wrote a poem to honor my mama. I'd like to share with all of you after reading your kind comments. There was so little time between her death and the funeral that I couldn't express myself. I hope to follow in her footsteps and write to get my emotions out.

My Dearest Mother
The gentle soul of a poet The spirit of a grizzly bear Her mind, like fine china Fragile, but exquisite Her shell, beautiful I hope to look like her one day
My mother Abused By others and herself A delicate woman gone Southern to the bone Magnolia to the end A Belle never to be forgotten
A Scarlett that would kill for others But never, never for herself Goodbye, my little Mother I'll love you always
I started calling her my "little mother" years ago when I outgrew her. She was such a tiny little bird....5 feet, 4 inches, 95 pounds. I towered over her at the age of 11. She was so fragile. I used to pick her up and we'd laugh and laugh. I couldn't believe how light she was! She was a tiny woman with such a big heart, such a big personality.
I really miss her. Thank y'all for being so sweet to me. My friends don't even know what to say to me. It's comforting to come here and read her old posts....to know that there were others who loved her, even if it's online. And to my Auntie Caroline, please know i love you. i don't know what to do sometimes and reading your emails helps me more than you'll ever know. :'(
PROUD Daughter Of Michelle (AKA "Gamergal" . May She Rest Forever In Peace...

Some extracts from " Gray's Elegy written in a country Churchyard."
The curfew tolls the knell of parting day, The lowing herd winds slowly o'er the lea, The ploughman homeward plods his weary way, And leaves the world to darkness and to me.
The boast of heraldry, the pomp of pow’r, And all that beauty, all that wealth e’er gave, Awaits alike th’ inevitable hour: The paths of glory lead but to the grave.
Full many a gem of purest ray serene The dark unfathom’d caves of ocean bear: Full many a flower is born to blush unseen, And waste its sweetness on the desert air.

I thought of Michelle when I was watching Battlestar Gallactica Friday night. I enjoyed discussing the show with her and sharing our predictions of what would happen next. That's one of the many things I'll miss about her.
