Please grade the following games (perfect = 100/100)

1st Neverwinter nights

2nd Dungeon siege

3rd Baldur's gate 2 (expansion)

4th Morrowind

5th Arx Fatalis

let the rumble commence

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

The problem is that they all seem to be clones so that is why the low ratings.
ifferent settings but same thing over and over in my opinion.

Neverwinter Nights would be my first choice.

Arx has akward movements and takes some time to get use to but it does have the  setup as does Morrowind that I prefer.

You might also look at Divine Divinity.  Haven't played much of it because of Unreal and now Splinter Cell and not enough time.

Besides, I am no good at giving a review because really think it is individual taste in the end and you could debate til blue in the face on these things.

I don't like little tiny people running around and the shadows or whatever it is called where you can't see the next area (Neverwinter, Siege, Divinity).  Another bit older game I loved was Soulbringer.  It is funny how some games stick in your brain cells.  I knew that one for months afterwards.

I liked Unreal II .  The only thing that threw me was the fact that it was not a continuation of the first one (really liked the original).  For a shooter it was great and not easy and the ending missions were very good and the ending too.

Hitman One I hated.  I have Hitman Two but have not started it yet and hope that the bugs are out of it.  I should load it and play it, give it a chance.

NOLF2 was good but not as good as the first one.  That could be because you expect something different not just settings and anticipate more of the same quality..  Found the streets of India boring after a while.  Loved Siberia settings though.

Now, remember this is coming from a woman who played about half of Icewind Dale, then one day looked at the screen and thought why in the hell am I playing this, it is boring so took it off.

Then I will load Hitman 2 and see.  I had a lot of computer problems with the first one.  So, will install it now and play with Splinter Cell.

Well Gayle before you install Hitman 2 you should know this .....

1st the game has NO blood marks >

2nd the mirror doen't have a reflection >

3rd you can kill people inside a door if you have a powerful weapon

4th you can shoot through keyholes with a deagle (desert eagle)

5th and most important i have read an article which says that Hitman 3 is already underconstruction. Also it says that the game has 41 million dollars budget
. Finally it says that a movie about Hitman is already underdevelopment

THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOL

Cripes, with a budget like that the third one has to be fantastic and 1 and 2 must have been very popular to have that sort of backing.

I like the shoot through keyholes, now that is different.

Nice Gayle! I've bought this game as a "B-side" of Planescape: Torment, and I never really considered to play it. But after reading the review on JustRPG and this simple remark of yours... Let's start !

Fallout 2 of course... or is it Betrayal at Krondor? Or Deus Ex? I don't think there is any single 'best' RPG. And whoever says there is just hasn't played enough RPGs

I forgot my sig.

@Godfather
85 is equal to "didn't like" in your opinion??  :

Neverwinter Nights
93, it gives power to D&
, but the graphics are quite standard

Dungeon Siege
76, it's just a colorful Diablo clone

Baldur's Gate 2
80, good story, but I didn't enjoy it as much as many others have

Morrowind
86, graphics are very good, but it gets boring because of the large scale and not enough challenge, haven't played the modifications and add-on, keep that in mind

Arx Fatalis
never played the full version, but the demo gets a 45 or something, bad controls

Deleted UserIs that the most expensive game in history? I've never  bothered thinking on how much budget should a game company use. I just play and buy games.

Actually, I finished Torment two weeks ago...

My best RPG ever (I haven't played much of them though), I miss the characters. Very good and dark story, a masterpiece -with a few bugs
.

How can all of you play all these RPG, it takes months for me to finish one
???
?

Because with the exception of a couple of adventure games like Dark Seed, etc.  RPG's are how I got sucked into gaming in the beginning and seem to have a sense for them (if there is any sense to them).

The only one that has taken months is Morrowind.  My very first Might and Magic (VI), I would stay up til 4 in the morning it had me so involved with it.

Deleted UserNo, no...I LOVE RPGs, still have fresh memories of Ultima Underworld 2
.

But it's the duration and addiction thing...Playing too much RPGs would kill me for sure (social life 0, sleep 0, concentration doing something else 0). I don't play Fallout or Morrowind because of that; I look at Soulbringer with care...

Do you bring each one of them to the end?
(apart Icewind Dale2
)

edit: by the way, the question is for everybody to answer

Yep.  Will finish them unless I get bored.  I have a hard time with some games and can't see what the big deal is since a lot of them are clones but when I get hooked I am hooked.
