I don't know if I totally agree with that. I think if you walked up to a religious person anywhere in the world and said "f*ck", they would be offended.

Perhaps what you say is true. I know about an equal amount of both kinds of speakers. I just curb my tongue when I'm around the non-"colorful" talkers.
And about that asterisk....

BTW: I think we should be able to write those words, We should be adult (no, not 'adult' like Inland) enough not to.
One example is when I shared a link to a post-order company with Dimitris and wrote "s l u t" which means "out of stock" in Swedish (aren't we wierd?), then the word was censored to slut.
