You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

I've actually listened to most parts of the soundtrack...that's one of the advantages of having connections in the adventure industry
And let me tell you the soundtrack is amazing. Mark Lovegrove, who does the music and is also the project leader is apparently a very talented man, and he has worked on more upcoming promising adventures.

Keep an eye on the website for the latest news and screenshots, and possibly even a rolling demo sometime soon
PS, thanks Steve for your "I've got a professional job in the industry" kind words.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis II (Amberfish) Indiana Jones & Fountain of Youth King's Quest I (Tierra Entertainment) King's Quest II (Tierra Entertainment) Quest for Glory II (Tierra Entertainment) King's Quest IX
Am I missing on something? Are there other such precious projects out there?
Cheers

There's also a Broken Sword fangame being made, too.

Welcome to JA forums, it's nice that you visit us. One of the most interesting battles next year will be:
Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth vs Quest for Glory 2 remake
Hell we haven't had such a Sierra - Lucasarts fight for years. It feels like you are re-writing history

and yeah since FoY is not a remake i guess the next lucasarts vs sierra battle would be FoY vs KQIX!!!

And thanks for your thanks, Aya But I have to state that I think only one of me is enough But yes, the more independant developers the better! Rock on.

It is like football
What does Petter has to say about all this? Will KQ9 be better than Indy FOY? Hehe .... let the battle begin I will personally enjoy every minute of it as I used to do when Lucasarts and Sierra were competing.
They were both great companies but it was funny to see people quarelling about which one was the best.

Status : Offline | imo i don't think competition will be good in this case.... competition is always good when money is involved, but these guys just do this for fun and out of love for the genre... there's no need for competition cause they'll do their best without it anyway... let alone that competition may even backfire making a designer frustrated and eventually dropping the project

On our case however the competition only goes down to fun... and apparently all games mentioned here are going to rock big time...but it will be funny to raise some conversations among adventurers...this is the kind of competition I am talking about.

But i believe that in some cases competition does good to the companies and to the products!
Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

It either does please the masses despite being rushed and not quite as designers would have liked it, and then it's a successful product. Or it will be so badly rushed that it'll fail and the competition who took longer to build a higher quality product will win.
I forgot my sig.

BTW, I really don't want it to be like a competition, war, battle etc cos really it's not. As Aya says, "these guys just do this for fun and out of love for the genre" which is too true.
Plus, if people think its a competition, they start saying "x is better than y" and "i preffered playing x to y", whic isn't something I like cos the same time and effort went into both free productions, done purely as a hobby.
We are not trying to be LucasArts, we are just trying to make a good Indy game in a style we know others like.
