Not a secret Caroline.
It's just that SirDave and I were born before the advent of written records.
Our tribal elders did mention something about my birth coinciding with the last full moon before the harvest season began. But I have no idea what "year" that may have been, let alone the exact "month" and "day".
However, I've always suspected it was somewhere between late August and early September because that's around the time I took my final test of manhood. Boy, that grizzly bear was tough!

Ah!....to be a grownup of your age again and remember everything I know now. Just dreaming a little dream. At this age everything is finally within reach and there are no closed doors for you. I do not want you to think that I am talking down to yor King Ryan, you may have a good head on your shoulders, but it is sometimes possible to lower one's guard and have a momentary lapse if judgement which could haunt one for the rest of one's life. So have a Happy Birthday and just match your step while you enjoy both your new freedoms and responsibilities King Ryan.

That's good advice King R.
You really do need to be careful navigating all your newfound adult freedoms.
Just remember these three simple rules and you'll be fine:
1. Be sure insist on the good single-malt scotch with those juicy steaks dinners,
2. don't get chinsy with the lapdancer tips, and
3. always have a quick getaway route planned when bedding down the boss'es wife.

My tips for life KingRyan
1. Never let anyone press your angry button.
2. Never postpone your own dreams to please others - unless it's a two way deal.
3. Believe in love. Magic happens. Cherish it or it will fade and die.
4. Youth really does pass in the blink of an eye so don't waste it wishing to be older, and don't waste opportunities thinking you have all the time in the world. Some boats really do sail....
5. And don't be so nerdy that you forget to be young and stupid once in a while - just make sure alcohol/fast cars and faster women aren't all happening in the same sentence.

Anyway, November seems indeed to be an auspicious month, as this weary Traveler will also be putting her backpack down in celebration of another year on life's twisty path, in a few days time.

My brother's birthday is today though, actually. Lots of November babies indeeed.
