You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Here you stated: I have to say that the style of moderating here is wonderful. I have come from a board where the mods were on a complete power trip and over-moderated a great deal. They seemed to have a hard time dealing with members who didn't agree with them. They would send certain threads that they didn't like to the owner. Very childish...
There you stated: I know exactly what board, and even what thread you are talking about. I just read it tonight. I also know what few people you are referring to. I couldn't agree with you more! Have you seen any of my recent posts there? Take a look and you'll see that it's not just you. It is too bad this stuff goes on but, unfortunately, I don't think there is much we can do about it.
What's up with that?

I got fed up and started posting here. At the time it felt great because I was feeling stifled at GB. My posts here back then reflect exactly how I felt. I then worked out the problem at GB and started posting there again. Then I started to see alot of rudeness, sarcasm, arguing, swearing, going on here. I still feel that alot of the arguments are canned - started just for kicks. So, yes I did feel that way about GB back then. I have since come to appreciate GB for what it is. I also appreciate JA for what it is. I just have learned that JA's style is not for me. I don't feel comfortable posting here, I do at GB.

No need to explain to me at all -
I mean come on, objectively - doesn't that sound a bit odd?

| Deleted User | I think Friedmonky is right, You people are mostly rude to others that post here, you rudely comment about everyones posts but you own, If the bigshots around here stopped posting, this site would be dead.I suppose that is why you post so it doesnt die. 900 members? where are they. they read these posts and then go away, too bad.30,000 posts? read them, mostly stupid posts that dont really say anything, but it brings your post numbers up...some post are fun to read, some just are just stupid. and some are down right rude. I think this topic was started to start a flame, cause that person is trying to keep this board alive and wanted to start the flaming, think about it.

I see you even felt it necessary to tell Rael about Lorryrose's (Judy's) post at GB about "Forum Rudeness". It wasn't even my post and Rael focused his reply to me and about me. What about the person who started the thread in the first place? She used some of the same words that I have! This, I just don't understand. I can tell I am not wanted here and have contacted Val to remove me from the members list.

I think gameboomers is a better forum. The mods are great there. They do their job to keep out the bad people..especially the 2 people I see who have posted here in this topic. I believe most people joined here to discuss adventure games and feel differently about this site when they read the posts. They join but they probably dont come back.Just by reading this thread I can tell who The Loudest are and the wantabees. Now you know why most people dont post here. Your position, and opinions, are quite clear.
By the way, welcome back to Just Adventure + and have a nice day.

As I far as I can see - everyone is welcome to post here. That's never been an issue (you even stated so in an earlier post...)
That's what I find odd... Your flip flop...

1. I'm very sorry to hear from you again. 2. I love being stupid. 3. Personally, I don't care about the number of posts (or members) on this forum - we have very high quality posts and members. 4. I love reading stupid posts. 5. Check the 2nd. post in this thread - who was the first who started the flaming? 6. I hope this is the last time we hear from you.

And, before you agree or say something nice to friendlyfish, be careful - I have good memories.

| Deleted User | you dont like me..the same to you..too honest for you huh.I have the right to post here as you do. Yes stupid posts are fun to read.Rude ones arent.Did you happen to read what the first post was about. You seem to think you can post what you want but others cannot. One persons opinion is as good as anyone elses.I think the question was Who gets on your nerves? was that not asking for someones opinion or what? thats what started it..it should never have been started if you didnt want it..remember if you dont like my post Then dont read it..

I guess I will have to say it again. I have come to appreciate GB more than I did before. Is this hard to understand? Seems pretty cut and dry to me. I have also learned that JA isn't for me. Again, cut and dry. I will not explain this any further.
Rael, answering a question honestly that someone posted is now considered flaming? Oh.... ???

You need to go back and read the GB post again. You missed something obviously! It was Judy who started it. She had things to say about how bad she felt she was treated. I just replied to it. And I become the central figure of the thread? You should have addressed Judy's concerns. After all, she was the one who had them.

I think this topic was started to start a flame, cause that person is trying to keep this board alive and wanted to start the flaming, think about it. You are certainly doing your good citizen's duty by making sure the flames don't go out. Thank you

Status : Offline | friedmonky and friendlyfish, there are many ways to answer a single question. Since nobody gets on my nerves, I didn't feel like answering. friedmonky could have been more polite in his answer but, saddly, he decided to start calling names some people - yes that's considered flaming.
My next comments are only for friedmonky - I find this sudden talk about the "arguing for the sake of arguing" and your change of mind about JA really odd. Mainly because of this -
The tone here might seem more argumentative for good reason. You actually can argue, or debate as I like to call it, at JA. GB does not allow any debating, arguing, differing of (mods) opinions, etc. Which forum is more entertaining, more fun, much less uptight, not policed? You make the choice. I know that I have. So you come to this forum because you like debate and argumentative tone and suddenly change your mind. Indeed, it's odd.
About addressing you in the GB post, like I said, I just wanted to let everybody know why you were treated that way here. Just being fair and bringing some facts, that's all.
