An objective viewpoint: Nobody gets on my nerves. True, some of the arguments over reach and eventually collapse under their own weight but if you sift through the debris there is usually something worth thinking about. Besides, an argument without conviction (arrogance?) is not very convincing.

Belinda- if you had lived in Dodge City in, say, around 1865 you would have probably been one of those Angie Dickinson-type girls at the bar who gets all the cowboys fighting each other while she slips quietly out the back door.....

You started up a virtual brouha-ha here!

I will admit though that the one thing that gets on my nerves is responses where the only apparent purpose is to argue for argument-sake or to just stick it to someone for the heck of it. Often, it is impossible to determine what these individual's position is other than just having something negative to say about every point one makes. There is a price to pay for doing that too often and the price is credibility which can lead to people just ignoring the individual's posts altogether.

The future ain't what it used to be!

Looks like this topic might end up with EVERYBODY on each others nerves, then.......it will all be quiet in here, cause no one will be talking to one another.....LOL....sorry, I had to laugh on that one.

Now......I'M trying to think of someone that gets on my nerves here.........hmm........

Hi,
Mods, can you move this topic to the Off Topic forum?  The seduction threads were moved to Off Topic, and this one should also be moved.

Topics in  "The Hot Spot" are supposed to be about adventure games.   As far as I know, it wasn't changed to include off topic posts.

As far as I can tell, in the "Off Topic" forum, you can post any sort of topic that you want.  My preference would be to not have anyone start a topic in any forum where the topic is intended to encourage flaming of a personal nature.  That appears to be the intent of this topic.   If there  are "hot" topics in this forum, I prefer them to be about adventure games.

Thanks.

Regards, mszv

...and my relationship with or what I have said about Gameboomers has something to do with this thread?  Now that's really stretching things.

To paraphrase Martin Sheen in my favorite movie, "Apocalypse Now"...

What mszv said is true but I'm going to make an exception with this thread. Once the discussion is over, and if no decision is taken regarding the Hot Spot, I'll move this to the Off-Topic forum.

The sheriff enters the bar, takes note of bar-room brawl, decides that a few heads need to be knocked, leaves bar to return later......

EXCUSE.........ME!  I don't want this topic moved from here. Every time I think a subject will be hot and objective that I make in the Hot Spot, someone has to complain about it, "Move it to the Off Topic......."
I know it says above for this forum to be for Adventure Games, but hell........look at it.......there is hardly anything in here, and besides.......the adventure games have already been heatedly discussed long time ago in the other forum. WHY DO YOU THINK I KEEP ASKING FOR ANOTHER FORUM, OR HAVE THIS ONE HOT FOR EVERYTHING?? ??

By the way Michal.....that was really funny about what you said 'spontaneous combustion'......LOL

Okay, here's what we do: you've heard of Hells Bells, well why not just have a section called Bel's Hell!

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Panayotis gets on my nerves cause he/she/it is always late with his/hers/its beta testing reports, and he/she/it has the most outrageous requests!
