probably Zelda: Phantom Hourglass which is nearly perfect (apart from having to go throught he same dungeon 50 times)
Other than that probably Professor Layton or the Phoenix Wright games.
There are quite a few decent games on that platform from New Super Mario to Final Fantasy IV.

I reallyyy love Professor Layton. I've only played Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, I didn't like it very much, but with all the amazing reviews the Phoenix Wright series gets, I'm either missing something or just got the worst game.
I'm currently digging Animal Crossing: Wild World and about to start FFVI.
Anyone played Boogie? >.>

My favs first of all are the Ace Attorney games. Love em. The stories, the characters and the dialogue just made me fall in love with the series. Sure they don't have puzzles like traditional adventures, but so what? Play them like interactive graphic novels. Works for me. Can't wait until the Edgeworth game.
I also love Final Fantasy IV - great remake. It takes everything that was good about FFIV and adds an increased difficulty, proper translation and 3D graphics. Anyone who hasn't gotten into this series should at least pick this up, it's a great place to start.
I'm also a fan of the DS Pokemon games. Yeah yeah, I don't really care what everyone says about them. I've loved the games since the '98 gameboy originals. Just because the show is for kids doesn't mean Pokemon should get a bad rap. Are we forgetting Mario and Link are cartoony and kid friendly? Pikachu deserves just as big a spot on the Nintendo fan radar as the rest of them (and probably would have if that show never made the phrase "pikachu!" so irritating to non-fans)

The Pokemon games will always be my favourite, I thought that went without saying!

A game now on the DS that got a bad review was "Paradise" - which was pretty buggy in the PC version.
The good news is that the DS version called "Last King of Africa" is getting great reviews and is being called the best adventure game on the DS:

This is actually the game that inspired me to make a thread on JA. I anticipate a lot of good adventures coming out on the DS in future, and I'm especially excited for Last King of Africa.
Does anyone know if the DS adaptation of Sinking Island was completely reworked like the Paradise - Last King of Africa is being?

Mario Kart, Mario&Luigi Partners in Time, Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Elite Beat Agents, Ouendan 1&2, Kirby's Canvas Curse
DS games I have and like:
Meteos, Another Code, Magical Starsign
DS games I'm not really into:
Rune Factory (gave it away), Puzzle Quest (gave it away), Imagine Figure Skater (may finish it someday), Phoenix Wright (I liked it until a certain plot development then lost interest. I will probably get back to it sometime.)
DS games currently being shipped to me:
Princess Debut
DS games I may buy eventually
... anything RPG if I see it cheap or I'm bored, Time Hollow if I find it used

However, for 19.95 - it was a good deal. I got 95% thru Paradise before a bug took me out
Sinking Island for the DS will get the full treatment - a complete rework from the PC version.
In this case - it is a great game already and will just get better. Last King was - lets take a game that is really buggy and fix and enhance it.

Hurrah I haven't played the PC version yet but I cower in fear of the words "ported straight to (system here)".
