Will this feature be coming back? Just noticed it was missing! It shouldn't be missing I don't think. I'll look into it.

Hi.. view all has become a selectable setting for forum admin.. as it creates server load some forum owners would rather not have..it can be enabled by the administrator if in admin center. the no new/new icons are the check images as they (im guessing)always have been on 2.1 template. the folder icons you see is default board icon..wich can be replaced with another image by admins hope that helps
Also for admin..The extra smilie issue seems to be a bug. that has been fixed for next version....

Also noticed errors while loading the forum icons (a folder appears instead of the "no new/new" icon). Like LWS said, the "all" button is now an option, which I left off. I didn't think anybody used it! I could turn it on if several ppl want it though. As for the icons, are you talking about the front page, or the different sub-forums? In each sub-forum there's the "new" icon for all new posts. On the front page, there's the checkmark icon, yellow for new posts, blue for no new posts.
So, according to LWS (who, if you haven't figured it out yet, is from the YaBB support team), the problem with the extra smilies not working properly in PMs is a bug, but they can still be used from their "View All Smilies" pop-up window - that is, if anyone uses those smilies in PMs.
@Ivinia: Updating YaBB would have been a very easy and straightforward job normally, but I wanted to keep several things as they were, so I had to do selective uploads. It turned out that the majority of the probs lied in one particular template, so the solution was to use the new one and copy/paste certain parts of code that i wanted to keep from the old one.

That's what makes it such a big job. I had changed lots of code by adding custom scripts to add things such as user flags and such which were not part of the standard package. In doing so, things get seriously hosed if you try to do an update with a new forum version. [smiley=hair_pull.gif]

So, at the moment it seems all probs have been resolved. Hopefully nothing new will be discovered, but if you do stumble upon smth, post about it in this thread.

Oh yes, and thank you LWS! It's people like you who make the help forums so darned valuable ...and... helpful.

In the case of adventure game trivia forum, that button is useless fot the "guess the screenshot trivia", as it loads ALL images. More useful should be a button like "load the last three pages", not just for that thread but for all threads, I think, as when I am looking threads I just look at just at the latest three pages, at maximum.

There is no option like that. But I brought back the "all" button.
@Ivinia: Yes, those members are the ones whose accounts got corrupted back during server migration. I did delete quite a few during the cleanup but I'm sure more are left.

Oh, what a pity it doesn't exist, it should have been useful. Well thanks for the "all" AYA!
