If there is no listing for the demo in Control Panel->Add/Remove then you may not have a problem at all and, if it were me, I likely would just delete it directly from the G Drive and leave it at that. Some Demos do not install using a registry entry. In fact, some full adventure games don't (eg. Rhem 1 and Alida). However, even if the Demo originally made a registry entry when it was installed, another way this can occur is if you have since used System Restore to go back to an earlier time: This removes the entry of the program in the registry, but leaves the program folder & contents on your drive. Then as far as Windows is concerned- the program doesn't exist!
The bigger problem occurs when you have a program entry in Add/Remove, but the program no longer exists on the drive. Then you need a special tool (eg. such as existed in the original Powertoys or a program such as JV16 Power Tools.) or the skill/knowledge to directly access the registry & know what to delete to get rid of the entry.

The future ain't what it used to be!
