Anyone heard much about this game? Tim, if you recall, is one of the long lost LucasArts-ites.

His first work under the company he founded, Psychonauts, was an amazing game, albeit with little fanfare from game players.

I read that the company that was going to publish it - Activision - is not going to do so.
A shame, but since the game was going to be for PS3 and 360 only I wasn't going to play it anyway.

It sounds great though - a game starring Jack Black with a metal soundtack and written by Tim Schaffer? Even if the gameplay sucks it would be awesome.
I hope it gets a new publishber that forces them to make a PC port.

Edit:
Apparnetly there's a new interview with him at the Escapist:http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_163/5147-Backstage-with-Tim-Schafer

I really wish Tim Shaefer had just stuck to traditional adventure games.  Psychonauts had his signature humor and great writing/direction, but the gameplay was very annoying in spots.  Of course we all know how Grim Fandango's interface had its share of detractors as well.  I think the guy's forte is coming up with interesting characters, great scripts, and original gameworlds/concepts.  His eye for gameplay is so-so at best.
