Status : Online | Oh, the subs will kill you if happen to be a test rat and eat approx. 1 lbs. of the sub a day for a long period of time. I doubt if a test rat could eat 1 lbs. of anything but the point is it would have to be a giant amount, pure stuff and every day over a long period of time.

I've just read an article where they quantified the amount you have to consume per day if you are looking for a chance to get healthproblems. I can't remember the figures exactly anymore but the figure some 1700 chewing gums stuck in my mind. I'm an avid sugarfree chewing gum-consumer but 1700 ..... Waaaaah!!
To get back on topic in the off topic section, both. I use sugar and substitutes as well. No sugar/substites in my coffee but 1 spoon sugar or 1 tablet of sweetener in my tea. Sometimes sugar is just too sweet!
