I absolutely hated the timed sequences  >
, especially the seatbelt thing (I had to find a saved game to get by that one). The rest of the game was kind of wierd (what's with all the sophomoric up-skirt stuff??). But the story kept me interested enough to finish the game. I did like the different perspectives of the same locations as the days progressed.

I don't buy download-only games. Never have, never will........Mike

Im playing the game right now (day 5), but its going downhill.

It started up strong, the character graphics are great, and the plot is quite intriguing.
The minigames & timed sequences are also a plus for me.

The boring stuff is to going back to the island, have to pick up STICKS AND STONES (to solve a generic puzzle, generally opening the tower door) & then the nightmares and then STICKS & STONES and solve the bell tower puzzle, nightmare, then STICKS AND STONES (oh and maybe some dry grass) and so on.

I disagree with the timed puzzles being bad, it makes sense that you had to avoid losing time doing useless things (like drinking the beer bottle in the van).

Currently Playing: Dracula Origins&&&&Check out my Videogame Music Covers!! http://www.youtube.com/user/SixStringsGeek

I've just started it, and so far am quite taken. I've successfully completed the first timed sequence after 2 attempts (1st time trying to work out what to do, 2nd time realising those were actually holes) which was a relief.

The dialogues are pretty bizarre though and the subtitles don't always match the spoken words. And some of the characters are just totally nuts- what is it with Maria??
I can see how the sticks and stones gathering would get annoying but am giving it a go for the time being. Most annoying is how slow the game is- ironic cos I just completed Black Mirror!

Currently playing:  Dragon Age Origins,  Darkness Within 2, The Witcher, Fallout 3
