'resting' are we? It's very nice to hear from you again Dom. I was wondering about you and Ben only the other day in fact. Didn't do anything except wonder mind you.....
A lot of the old faces you knew have also been caught up playing that most fascinating game, Real Life. It would be quicker to list those who are still around, than those who've wandered off but I'm too tired to do either right now.....
I can't even remember what type of games you enjoyed playing. What was the last one you can remember?

Hello lovely. Thanks for the update. :-*
I've enjoyed pretty much anything and everything, I've even enjoyed a few in spite of themselves - but my favourite games of old would include Myst, The Neverhood, Sam and Max, Rhem, Gabriel Knight 2, Journeyman 3, Monkey Island 1-3, Grim Fandango, Dark Fall, Obsidian. My last AG purchases were Moment of Silence, Black Mirror and Midnight Nowhere I think. The last game I played was Scratches - which was great (although I am slightly biased) and that got me thinking about what's out there now. I noticed there are two sequels to Rhem, another Broken Sword and another Runaway so they're probably worth it. Or are they worth it? I guess I'm interested to know about the ones that came under the radar and impressed. Not hard for Broken Sword 4 to get publicity and shelf space, but harder for those great one-offs that come along every so often. All I can say is if the voice acting is poor I'm less likely to be interested, mulitple paths and non-linearity are a bit off-putting, and I can't stand endless conversations (thanks Longest Journey, I did learn something from you) but if it's graphically beautiful or atmospheric I can forgive pretty much anything.
Thanks for the heads up about Lost Crown, Ivinia - definitely one for the list, although I still need to play Dark Fall 2.

Midnight Nowhere had a lot of criticism about the main characters' attitude towards women & initial scenes, but if not the greatest AG in the world turned out to be better than I thought with a slight twist at the end.
Runaway 2 is worth considering (if you liked the 1st one!) as is The Ankh games if you like animated graphics & humour.
Other games to consider are Still Life & the Agon series. Also Alkis' game Diamonds in the Rough.
Also Dracula Origin, Sherlocks Holmes The Awakened & (as you liked Myst) you may like the two Aura games (although I haven't played Sacred Rings yet).
