This game has been out for quite some time now in the US. It is a 3rd person point & click. No action sequences to contend with. One fairly easy timed puzzle that I remember.

The story continuity is lacking (or maybe I'm just too dense to understand it). Some slow character movements. Some poor voice acting. But having said that, I think this game is one of this year's best.  A nice & long game that I enjoyed  from start to finish.

Best played without distractions and the lights off. It startled (macho way of saying scared) me several times. A lot of fun.

I don't buy download-only games. Never have, never will........Mike

Even though I was disappointed with the ending, I loved the rest of the game. It was very atmospheric, and definitely the best horror game since Scratches. Maybe even better.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this game for you. I'm playing it at the moment and really enjoying it. I'm so pleased that this was third person game. From the opening and throughout the game, the mood and atmoshere is very spooky-very nice detailed graphics too.

Yes, it's definitely worth playing!

Mind you, the beginning is very slow and I was almost losing my patience when the game finally picked up speed and I found myself enjoying it a lot.
There has been complaints about the voice acting and the character movements, but it doesn't bother me since the story is interesting and it's spooky in a I'm not scared to death, rather pleasantly scared-way.

I loved it for the gameplay and the feel of it, but even though I'm usually not bothered by something as inherently trivial as voice acting it has to be said that there is a lot of teeth-grindingly awful 'acting' going on in this game. Once I realised that it wasn't going to get any better as the game progressed I managed to ignore it for the most part, but trust me, you won't have heard so much misplaced emphasis, badly timed pauses and wrong inflection since those class readings in junior high (or whatever your local equivalent is).

Oh, and the ending doesn't provide much in the way of closure either, if that is a concern for you..

TLJ and Grim Fandango....I can't put the two in the same sentence. One is an immersive personal human story, the other is a zany cartoon.
ayum.  Still...I'll play it!!

Just don't get too hung up on the beginning. It starts off really slow and the movements and voices might get to you. If you can muster past all that, you'll find the game just becomes more and more gripping and sticks with you long after you have finished playing it.  By far one of the best AGs to come out in years.
