That is one of the worst ports I have ever seen. I got it because I love Syberia and I like the idea of having it in my pocket at all times, but the port is awful gameplay-wise. It really put me off from giving Amerzone a shot on NDS.

I've yet to play a port that I enjoyed, including games I enjoyed on the PC.

IMO the best games for DS are the ones developed for DS, the only exception being the LucasArts games that can be played on the DS using ScummVM. But those aren't exactly ports.

Few things:

1) The Nintendo Dsi uses standard Digital Cameria flash cards because it is a Digital Cameria

2) According to Nintendo, all operating system updates done by card or internet connection will never cause a game NOT to play.

3) I actually have lots of ports - Unlike Myst and Syberia that are very good on the system: Secret Files 1 and 2, Broken Sword, Art of Murder, Last King of Africa, Runway 2 and 3 were all great games ported to the DS.

I do like origonal DS adventure games - I just replayed Trace Memory and it was just as captivating today as it was in 2005. Next is 999.
