Some of the pictures are simple, it wasn't easy to create hard puzzles using only names of adventures (but I still managed to devise some difficult ones [smiley=devil_smiley_grintail.gif])

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Picture 3 was a bit misleading so I corrected it and I will ignore the wrong guesses I received. I also simplified picture 22 since it was fiendishly difficult. My advise is to use the search engine of TheLegacy, you can search for adventures with part of the title. I'll show you two examples of games I discarded because they were way too easy Spoiler AlertStill Life Spoiler AlertMorpheus Wikipedia can also help a lot

There are still many pictures which I don't think I'll ever be able to guess, nor have any way to search for them.

However, since I don't know the character nor the actor in the second one, I couldn't have come up with that answer.

I agree with Lady Kestrel, some of the pictures require previous knowledge of something, but it's the same as guessing screenshots, you can't guess Milo if you don't know of its existence and I thought that, after 3 Matrix movies, Laurence Fishburne was too familiar (not to mention its cool raincoat) It's curious, the first thing I think watching a still life painting is "another still life", maybe it's just me

I simplified picture 15 since nobody was guessing it Some of the pictures require intuition but they can be guessed, even 23 (it's difficult, I know, but it's more logical than some puzzles in Secret Files Tunguska)

These puzzles caused mass hallucinations, with people seeing queens, shells and all kind of gates and islands coming out of nowhere A bit of explanation: 2. Gast means 'guest' in German and Dutch, if you google with "guest huesped invite ospite hospede" you'll find the Wiktionary page for guest containing the word translated in several languages (that's where I copied the Chinese, Korean, Russian and Arabic versions). This one was quite difficult, I know. I wrote 8 words so the picture couldn't be confused with "the 7th guest", yet... 3. The car is a Toyota 4Runner Urban Runner (I think the 'urban runner' edition of the '4runner' model). You can see the solution in plain sight on the main page of www.toyota.com. 4. It's a frame from the movie "Journey to the Center of the Earth" with James Mason and Pat Boone. I really like that movie 5. In Cold Blood is the name of a book by Truman Capote. 7. The highlighted flight is the longest journey in the timetable. This is probably the most devious puzzle. 8. It's the cover of the Pink Floyd album "the Dark Side of the Moon". I guess someone will buy the CD just to destroy it 9. Nothing mysterious about that island, it's Maupiti Island, it really exists near Bora Bora 10. It's an 80 days period. 11. Mirage is a character from the movie "The Incredibles". 12. NiBiRu is the Romaji transcription of the 3 katakana characters in the picture. Wikipedia contains the table of all the katakana characters 14. Isabelle Adjani. Next time I'll use Isabelle Huppert so nobody can guess it [smiley=devil_smiley_grintail.gif] 16. Traitors Gate is a part of the Tower of London. You can also see it in Sherlock Holmes Nemesis. 17. The mathematic expression equals d. Even if you don't remember how to solve integrals, you just need to notice that the expression contains only a, b, c, d, x, y and there aren't many adventure games with only those letters 18. He's Genghis Khan, Temüjin was his real name 19. I didn't edit the picture, it's really a black dahlia, a hybrid of course. 21. Mojo is a supervillain from the Marvel universe 22. All 8 persons are called Guest (some from Wikipedia, some from imdb) so the girl in the circle (Lady Kestrel's personal nemesis ) is the 7th Guest counting from left to right 24. 505.93 Kelvin degrees are approximately 451 Fahrenheit degrees.
I almost forgot, there's no solution to puzzle 23 yet, I'm sure that, if you join your forces, you'll get to solve it by yourselves. You can use this thread as a sort of playthrough, I can tell you it's neither "Big red adventure", "the sleeping dragon" nor "dragonsphere"

Regarding number 23,
I found out that it's a coin from England, specifically from the reign of Edward the 7th. The depiction is of St. George defeating a dragon. Can anyone else fill in any points of interest about it, perhaps some clue regarding the color?

Don't you know that curiosity killed the cat? I had to search the net all over again > Anyway, they are Christopher Guest, John Josiah Guest, Jo Guest, Edgar Albert Guest, Rayne Guest, Lady Charlotte Guest, Cornelia Guest, Thomas B. Guest I only knew Christopher Guest before (since I saw "Best in show" recently).

By the way, the solution to 23. had better be good as I thought my first guess was absolutely brilliant! I thought my answer to the Brazil one was pretty decent too. Aah well! Can't win 'em all (or... ANY! ).
Jo Guest is a porn star by the way! Nice one!

It was a great quiz a extremely devious, and like I thought there were a couple of DUH images for me (Journey to the Center of the Earth, Urban Runner, The Space Bar, Fahrenheit 451 - forgot to check if there were other games called Fahrenheit), and The 7th Guest and The Longest Journey were very, very devious (at least for me )
Number 21 was a little devious also, because in case you have never read Marvel Comics (or at least watched the x-men animated series) I guess there would be no way in hell (except maybe lucky guesses) to answer it correctly. Taio, have you ever read Marvel Comics or watched the TV show?
What the hell is picture number 6 and in what way does it have to do with Labyrinth, by the way?

The labyrinth is a system of fluid passages in the inner ear, including both the cochlea which is part of the auditory system, and the vestibular system which provides the sense of balance. It is named by analogy with the mythical maze that imprisoned the Minotaur, because of its appearance.
