I think that a review should only be a review if you first hand have had the experience with what you are reviewing. Otherwise, you are commenting on someone else's experience. I think it is more about ethics and trustworthiness when reviewing material. If you review something that you have not experienced, then, ethically, you are not representing the material in it's true light. Then this can become slander or libel. This holds regardless if the source material is real, imaginary, stolen, horrific, extraterrestrial, beautiful, uncensored, or smells funny. You may make a judgment on anything IN the review, but it's not a review until you have something to review, hence re + view = "back or again" + "the act of looking/seeing".

This brings up something. Can anyone out there who has the game get a video snapshot of the end credits? Now that would be something really interesting to see.
So antler did you have a chance to play it?

Status : Online | There was a video of the ending with the credits, but it's since been edited to cut the credits. Anyway, there are only the names of the three guys with very general roles attributed to each.
Anyway, there are finally some replies! First, the guy who made the music and is only credited in the manual says that all his music is original. Good for him.
Second, the developers are claiming that it's not their fault but some external unnamed source:
In response to the shocking notification that some alleged unauthorized copyrighted materials submitted by sources external to the development team have been found within the PC game Limbo of the Lost, we (the development team) have given our consent and full cooperation to both publishers who are recalling all units from all territories immediately.
Please be assured that we do not condone in anyway the use of unauthorized copyrighted materials and if we had been made aware earlier, we would of course have ceased development of the product and rectified the issue prior to the publication process.
There was also a link to a 2004 post on Wintermute's forums where Steve Bovis explains how he creates the backgrounds. [smiley=bullcrap.gif]
