Oh, dear! Sorry, didn’t know you were unfamiliar with the slang! That’s a compliment! It’s slang meant to convey that your’e eeerrmm..…on the ball? ….are you familiar with that? Let me attempt to un-slang it; ermmm..shucks, I can only think of slang here.. sharp, organised, .. “Sorted” is meant to convey that you are well-organised, and efficient, I think would be the closest meaning in plain English. Looks like I’m augmenting your formal education here Nik! [smiley=laughing.gif] Gotta get street-wise, dude! Ha-ha-ha! Your’e neat! [smiley=rockin.gif]
Why, thank you kind lady [smiley=blush.gif] [smiley=blush.gif] [smiley=blush.gif]. You're pretty neat yourself .

Hey, that's a thought: someone needs to invent a robot to index all our games for us! It would certainly keep my desk considerably cleaner...

I have nightmares of the highschool friends' console games and music CD's, the way they "handled" them. It looked like most of their discs were taken to the beach and tap-danced upon in the sand. It was a wonder they even worked.
If you want proof of how I handle media, ask the people whom I gave games away to in this forum

Status : Online | I still have most of the original boxes from the games I have bought over the years.
I did throw away the Light House and the Monkey Island 2 boxes Those I wished I still had. I'm missing disc 2 of RTMI.
I still have all the Lucas Arts Archive series and all the discs...a miracle!

Status : Offline | After reading this thread I'm seriously considering packing all my boxes flat - they take up a LOT of space at the moment.
I also think I should retrieve all my unplayed games from the rack and organise them better. Hmm... you're influencing me people. Who knows? I may just find that music CD that went missing last year...

Status : Online | I don't own that many games (about 80, I think) and all of them are neatly stacked on a shelf. In alphabetical order *ahem* But it makes things a lot easier - I know exactly where to look for a game. The only problem is: The shelf, being rather slim, is already full because I keep buying games and stacking them away for later - I will install them as soon as I bring them home, then put them on the shelf and debate which one to play first

Status : Online | I'm another one for the alphabetical sorting. All of my boxes are shelved alphabetically in a closet. The disks I take out and store in a binder (kind of like this one: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41G77D7Z5PL._SL500_AA280_.jpg) for portability. Of course, I have lost some disks over the years to "toss the disk on the desk after playing," but I keep hoping I'll find them somewhere in the basement!

Status : Online | They are on a big shelf (the games that I have played). In a drawer I have the games that I haven't played yet. The reason for this is that I'm getting anxious staring at them and not playing them that's why they are hidden in the drawer!

Status : Offline | I have my games (and DVD movies) stacked and in their proper cases which in turn are stacked neatly in the CD racks/shelves in my office upstairs that has been converted from my old bedroom when my mom moved my bed (my office used to be my bedroom) into her bedroom that's across the hall in the half-story dormers of our house. But I wasn't always good this way at keeping my media...for example, in my 20's and 30's when I used to buy Beatles' and Country record albums and cassette tapes (plus I had several 8 track tapes at the time as well), I used to leave the records scattered all over my bedroom (I've always lived with my parents and they made me keep my stuff in my bedroom at the time) high and low, here and there, out of their jackets (albums) and lying on desk, on top of my piles of books/clothes where dust would settle on them, and when my mom would make me clean up my room I was careless of which record/tape I would place in which jacket/case i.e. they didn't always go into their proper case; it was a mix'n'match thing. Today I try to keep all my games and movies in excellent condition in their proper place.
