Oh my, it seems I've upset the troll.
Evidently, it can't tell the difference between a modern ROLE PLAYING GAME like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and a shooter.
Oh well, I assume it will continue to babble on about how awful Fallout 3 will be - right up to the time it's actually released when I plan on having a ball playing it along with many others who realize that the genre has changed since the original games in the series came out a full decade ago.

Based on what evidence? As far as I can tell, Terry was expounding upon his own personal opinions; unless you're suggesting that Terry was misrepresenting his own estimation of the series, I don't see how what you initially quoted could be a lie, obvious or otherwise.
"Pointing out" a lie without any actual evidence seems to me tantamount to an accusation.

Fallout 3 is a first person shooter with rpg elements. The truth is out and has been for a while. See how I linked actual evidence to support my claims? That is called formulating a cohesive argument...

The poor troll apparently doesn't realize that it's mere existence is an insult to any forum community.
It's also sadly deluded about the defintion of a RPG these days. I suppose that's due to it living in such a deep, dark, little hole.

Dear old JKing! What a perpetually chivalrous gentleman you are! I could have guessed you would come to the defence of what you deem to be right. I guess Shadow was being a bit...impolite, yet it spiced things up quite considerably, don't you think?
Also, JKing, I really appreciate you coming to my defence in my absence (knight on a white steed, 'an all :-*), but I actually do agree with Shadow's challenging me on the point that he had - I should not have been commenting on posts that I had not read; and guess what? I cannot for the life of me find the references to Fallout3 under discussion??? I'd appreciate someone pointing me to it?
Would Shadow possibly have deleted them as well? What a pity!

Status : Offline | I wasn't paying much attention at the time and I can't go back to look at Shadow's posts to check my suspicion, but I get the distinct impression that Shadow isn't a newcomer to this forum and that the habit of deleting and vanishing is well established so that it feels very familiar to me. If I am correct, Shadow will return under a different name before too long.
