On my way to see Daredevil!  Hope I can find a comfortable seat with this big stick I have stuck up my butt.  If anyone is interested I'll let you know how it was tonight!

I definitely want to know! I just learned about his movie a few minutes ago in www.imdb.com.

BTW, you should try some creams with that problem of yours...

Deleted UserOh! I've been waiting for this movie. But be sure to warn me first if there's a spoiler. It'll be a long wait for the movie to come across the sea.

Yeah i WANT your thought too

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Deleted UserAm I the only one getting a bit tired of these superhero movies? :
Spider-Man was pretty nice, and I eagerly await X-Men 2 because of the awesome cast, but with all of these movies I'm beginning to know I know the formula all too well. If Hollywood is going to insist on using every single Marvel superhero there is, it's going to get boring very quickly. The Hulk is coming up now too, and I think it will be pretty good, but I have my doubts about this Daredevil movie...

I kinda like super-hero movies, hell, I like all sorts of movies!
I gotta say though, I'm feeling a bit ambivalent about Daredevil, considering it's Ben Affleck doin the part. He has always struck me as a bit "woody" even though he's a good actor an all. I loved Dogma, for instance, but that had very little to do with him...

Right, that was pure Kevin Smith magic
Of course Affleck and Matt Damon are good friends with Smith... have you seen Chasing Amy?

I also think Ben Affleck is kind of stale... I think Matt Damon is much much much better than Ben Affleck and if it wasn't for Matt Damon good will hunting would be a much worse film. As for superhero movies... I like them.

But when are they going to make the next Conan movie  :'(

Chasing Amy was a fantastic movie, and affleck was amazing... also recommended: mallrats (although affleck plays a bit less on that movie)... oh and of course dogma is among my all-time fav movies

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Hang on, they can't make another Conan movie until there is at least a movie or two featuring John Carter!

Well, Daredevil was actually a lot better than I thought it would be.  It's not as good as Spiderman but is a lot better than the cornball superhero movies of the past.

The main villian Bullseye is fantastic.  Kingpin is good also but not in the movie much.

The subplot with Elektra, I thought, really bogged down the movie.

Very atmospheric, very dark and moody.  Way too much religious iimagery in the movie - I got the point in the first five mnutes, no need to keep driving it home.

One thing that I thought very unrealistic was Daredevil making leaps and bounds across buildings that made hiim look like Spiderman.
aredevil does not have superhuman powers and this was way out of character.

Much of the audience applauded at the end of the movie which is unheard of in this city.

Now Randy, I was looking forward to hear all about the stick up your behind...?

The fx are great.

One thing I forgot, there is a real quick scene that kind of disturbed me.  It shows Daredevil popping percocets and when he opens his medicine cabinet its stocked full of dozens of prescription painkillers.  Its never mentioned again.

Jennifer Garner - sorry guys, she didn't do a thing for me, and I honestly thought the movie would have been better without her.  Okay, flame away.
