Sent my replies. Not too bad, I am certain about  1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 17, 20, 23, 25, 28, fairly positive about 5, 8, 10, 16, 24, 30, a bit of a wild guess for 13, 15, 19, 27, 29. I just know I've seen  21 and 26 but the answer won't come to me, and as for 14, I'm certain I would remember had I played that one

Edit : SuperEdy, what are the rules on guessing again? I have a couple more ideas for 13 and 27 (should my original ones be false) and on reflection, I must be close on 23, but no cigar...

The scores so far:

1. Shany 26 points
2. nik2008ofs 20 p.
3. Blount 9 p.
4. Andromus 6 p.

You have 60 guesses at your disposal, but remember that, next week, I'll put a hint for the pictures nobody guessed, so save some guesses for those pictures.

SuperEdy, number 2 is part of a famous painting and I know one adventure game that certainly features it, but of course it could be from another game altogether. Will you accept any game where this can be seen as a correct answer, or just the one where you took it from?

Try send your guess, if it's not the game I mean, you should show me a screenshot with that image as a proof (don't worry, it's probably the right one).

They aren't marketed as being sexy. You only find out about the lasciviousness after you have already bought it  8-)

Now this is a trivia game. thumbs.gif

Glancing over I think I recognize about half of them, but the one that has me most intrigued is #2. I recognize the painting and know the artist, but I haven't the foggiest what game it belongs to (or games rather, as nik2008ofs' pointed out). It's extremely frustrating...

I'm pretty sure I can't win, but I don't like 2 pointer, so I think I'll send some guesses in to make things more interesting for the leaders.

But I'm not so complicated as to flee, &&or stand here in silence. &&But I'm not so simple as to not caution, &&that there aren't three minutes, or a hundred words, that could define me.&&&&[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlR-6Tw-5bE]Brief description of my person[/url] - Cuarteto de Nos

6. Taio 14 p.
7. Wimli 13 p.
8. Andromus 9 p.

(And I'll back the lady at 2-1. Go, LadyK! Go! )

...grumble, grumble, a few I thought I new, but got it wrong -especially no.11- definitely played that one.  Now which game was that again?  Grrrr!

And the title of Peeping Tom Supreme goes to ... Gonchi  [smiley=beer_buds.gif](or should I call you peeping Gonchi, el gran mirón?
)

1. Gonchi 30 points
2. Lady Kestrel, nik2008ofs 27 p.
4. Shany 25 p.
5. Blount 20 p.
6. Taio 14 p.
7. Wimli 13 p.
8. Andromus 9 p.
9. Susan 7 p.
10. TheTraveler 4p.
11. Bonsai-san 1 p.

Emmanuelle is the Amiga version and Martin Mystere is the European version (I was told the American one is different, but I couldn't find any screenshots of that version)
I took all the pictures from several sites, so if you want to see the complete image I can post the link; I didn't play almost half of them and quite frankly I wouldn't be able to recognize 3 or 4 of the images if I had to.
Kama Sutra was guessed 5 times
, I don't even know if there is an English version (maybe there are a lot of Mino Manara fans out there
); instead Noctropolis was only guessed by men, mmm I didn't think it was a macho game. Of course my favourite one is the girl from Overseer, I think she was a girlfriend of Jack Nicholson (such fine tastes).
About the painting, la Venus del espejo by Velázquez is his only remaining nude and you can see it in the room dedicated to Spanish painting in the National Gallery of London and in its digital version in Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin, I visited both the National Gallery and the British Museum several times and I can tell you from the screenshots that they are reconstructed quite well.

I am merely an ardent admirer of the pinnacle of perfection that is the female form.

I don't believe there is, though there is a spanish version, which is the one I have. Manara's art is fairly distinctive though, and there might be a few covert readers around...

Noctropolis isn't a very common game, although a lot of people have probably heard of it I don't think many have actually played it. The image from the Darksheer's comic likely drew some people off. (I love Noctropolis by the way, I wish there were a sequel)

That was a wild last minute guess by me. I knew it was the Rokeby Venus, but no idea which game it was featured in. Google didn't turn up any game with the artist or painting, so I looked for the location instead, and Sherlock Holmes vs. Arsene Lupin was the only one that popped up with the National Gallery as a location. I wasn't entirely certain though, but I took The Traveler's signature as a sign.  [smiley=detective.gif]

Good going, Gonchi!  You definitely know your ladies. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

My last 3 screens (Love for Sail, Noctropolis, Martin Mystere) kept eluding me.  I had looked at screenshots for those games in several places while searching for some of the others, but just didn't check the right places.  Now that I know what they are, I found the first 2 easily but could only find that shot of Martin Mystere on their website.
id they cover her up or take her out for Crime Stories?  Anyway, thanks for the challenge, SuperEdy!  It was fun.

Here's the screenshot I used for proof for Martin Mystere: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/crime-stories-from-the-files-of-martin-mystre/screenshots/gameShotId,119181/
It's hard to see, but it looks like she's wearing something more covering (not that it's being held by anything
)
Also, I'm sure I would've remembered if she looked like THAT in the version I played.

By the way, the picture by Velázquez also appears on the cover of Callahan's Crosstime Saloon, only with a twist. http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/callahans-crosstime-saloon/cover-art/gameCoverId,3008/

Thanks for the fun trivia!
Now how about a version for the ladies?  :

About Martin Mystère, while it's not the shot used in the trivia, you can see the stage and dancer on the last screenshot at MobyGames'. Seems to be from the Euro version judging by the contribution date listed.

I remembered seeing it when I was scouring screenshots during Bastich's tournament.

EDIT: Ninja'd!

I'm up for a ladies version. I'm even willing to pose for a shot. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Well, we could always resize it.

It's going to be a shorter puzzle, since scantily clad men are much rarer in adventures, but let me see what I can throw together for us.  If I find enough, I'll post it here tomorrow (Wed.) night.
