Status : Online | So far it does, I have just played maybe an hour of it so far. Unreal II got in the way. Game play is the same as those games and does what I hate, opens an area and darkens another as you leave it or haven't entered it yet but someone told me to stick with it that it was a really great game.

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

| Deleted User | I liked it and Im still playing it. So far the max level you of your character is infinity. But in my opinion neverwinter nights is more better. You could download various types of user created world on the net.
I've read from thier developers thatthey said they would've produced a more better product in Divine Divinity but they had time and cost problems . So they had to just finish whatever they had and finish it.
Well, dont get me wrong here, its a good game. If not why would I buy it! Well, there are some bit of dialogs here and there. But not too heavy. There's also a freedom to this game in some sort(character)

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Status : Online | I know i'm a little late in this thread...but I really enjoyed Divine Divinity, played it all the way through. it does remind me of Diablo II, but also of Ultima seven. As RPGs go, it is pretty mindless, but so fun to explore and level. There are even some hidden quests and stuff that i only know about from the website, where the forum is very helpful. It really is not as mindless as Diablo II, however....there are actually many many quests, and stories. Aya, let me know what you think!

Status : Online | Rest assured, you can save when you want! Yeah, Diablo 2 was fun and mindless but not being able to save and getting put back in camp over and over was not.
Incidentally, i beat Diablo, played most of the expansion, but with just Baal left to go...i quit. The expansion was just too tedious and i had no desire to finish it.

How do you like Divine Divinity so far? I've hardly played an RPG in my life, but my friends keep telling me I should try one. Is it a good introduction to the genre? I've visited Larian studios' site and it looks really good! (of course I'm a bit patriotic here, since it's a Belgian developer. Glad someone has finally put our small country on the gaming map! )

as for good introductory rpgs i don't think i'm the one to recommend any, cause i have only played very few... i'm an action rpgs fan, especially diablo i... my first rpg was phantasie iii (on amiga - pc version sucks) and i loved it... anyway i know for a fact that other members of this forum can give you more detailed and experienced views on rpgs... maybe you can start a thread about it

as for diablo, i'm sure you'll enjoy it, just keep in mind that this one IS "mindless"! ie, not too much interaction or strategy or anything... just action (they don't call it "hack'n'slash game" for no reason!)

That sometimes all I need! I'm currently giving Myst another try (didn't like it before, but I think it deserves a second chance). So some good brainless fun between Myst's puzzles will be the perfect balance!
