NASA makes Beatles go interstellar

This is silly.  Some scientists have warned NASA that our music, if beamed into Deep Space, might be interpreted as an act of aggression.  The Aliens, disturbed at having such noisy neighbours, would use their superior technology to obliterate all life on Earth.

Methinks someone is seeking publicity.

i don't know about the beatles but if nasa ever made the mistake of transmiting modern mainstream music we'd be in deep [s]shit[/s] trouble... i mean what could be more hostile than making alien races listen to hiphop and r&b? :
no one would blame the poor aliens for annihilating us (they'd sure be thinking they're putting us out of our misery)

"obladi oblada" as a battlecry though... that's very interesting!

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Three things:

1.  The whole thing sounds like a idea for a bad B-movie.

2.  We've been sending radio and other audio stuff in space for decades now.  Would be too late to talk about this right now.  Maybe television is more dangerous than radio.  Imagine what they would think of us with "The Dukes of Hazzard." :

3.  I recall there being a 80's song about "There's No Rock N' Roll On Mars."

I eagerly await the alien armadas to arrive around Earth, because the lyrics to 'yellow submarine' translate in alien as a series of 'your mother' jokes.

Is that why they kidnapped Kate? Perhaps she was humming a tune before the abduction.
