Currently playing: Dragon Age Origins, Darkness Within 2, The Witcher, Fallout 3

I'm not playing anything at the moment. I have Arsene Lupin loaded, and started it, but don't really feel like playing a real time 3D game at the moment. I finished The Awakened not long ago and that's enough first person real time 3D for a while.
I ordered some games from InteractCD last week. I'll probably end up playing Ghost in the Sheet next, or possibly Beyond the Spirit's Eye -- something with zero chance of giving me motion sickness.

It was a while back, about 3 years ago that I played it and the next 2 games. Pandora Directive was my favorite. These games have so much going for them that I forgave them the few annoying timed /action/stealth bits.

*gasp* I was hoping there wouldn't be any timed sequences at all. The mouse is really weird, sometimes sensitive to every little move and sometimes too slow (or how to put it). Anyway I'm staggering around a bit while moving.

Also, the main character has the most boring voice in video game history. He sounds like he's about to fall asleep in every sentence. And there's not much of a story so far, but I've only just started so it might get better...

Status : Online | Hi, all...
"What are you playing" seems like a good first post topic, so I'll jump right in. 8-)
The most recent games I've finished are Return to Mysterious Island, AGON, and Dark Fall: The Journal (all of which I loved -- I've had good picks lately). I tried Aura briefly, but it wasn't my style. I need some story with my puzzles, please. I had the same problem with Rhem. (Actually, there it was "I need some scenery with my puzzles," too.)
Now I've just started The Last Express, which is fascinating. I wonder how I hadn't heard of this one before now. (I got GameTap just so I could play Uru, and I'm continually amazed by the games they offer, both titles that have been on my to-play list forever, and surprising new discoveries.)
I also decided to try to return to Schizm, which I abandoned a long time ago. It's hard going, even with a walkthrough. I'm also annoyed at the low quality of the compressed graphics on the CD version, and tried to find a DVD version to play instead -- looks like it's a rare beast, that one. Not available anywhere. (If anyone has any leads -- at affordable, non-collector's prices -- I'd be obliged!) I'm developing this strange love/hate relationship with Schizm. Well, make that like/hate. I feel like I should like it more, but there are so many frustrations involved.
I think I'll generally try to keep two games going at once, which is a pattern I've sort of fallen into lately -- a "day" game and a "night" game. Schizm is my day game right now, and my last night game was Dark Fall, now it's The Last Express, which is kind of dark.
I'm not even sure what I'll be playing next. I have loads downloaded already from GameTap, and I also have several shiny, unopened boxes waiting to be played...Scratches, Still Life, the whole Space Quest collection...I've got plenty to keep me busy for a while.

I set aside Bad Mojo for now and finally - finally! - started with Sam & Max Season 1. Great fun! It's every bit as funny as I remembered the original to be. The synchronisation is absolutely perfect, if there is one little complaint it is that Sam's voice seems to be always below the volume of the rest of them. Of course, the episodes are rather short. I'm halfway through. But who cares, the puzzles are quite whacky and logical at the same time. I really like the puzzles. Those are quality products, no doubt about it. The pricing is completely fair. And it doesn't seem like they intend to stop any time soon, does it?

Oh, I do not. But I don't like UHS. I have very rarely seen a UHS file that doesn't give away major plot points, most of the time because it is structured in chapters that tell you how far you made it. With Bad Mojo that isn't really an issue, though (at least I think so). Hmm.
You got a point, I guess.

This weekend I upgraded my old computer with more RAM and a new Videocard , so now I've loaded Dreamfall, finally. :-/
A game many of you already played I guess. Though I played the first game when it came out and was not overly impressed. :'( It was OK but not more. Never the less I decided to give Dreamfall a chance.
Cheers

| Deleted User | Just finished playing an RPG and Tunguska, (I go in cycles between RPG, Strategy, and Adventure - they scratch different itches), spent some time playing pure puzzles (amongst others Pandora's Box - quite addictive if you enjoy timed visual puzzles). I started Murder on the Or. Exp., but can't get into it, looking around for something else - which is why I'm currently whiling away time on the Internet. I had Silent Hill 3 somewhere, but can't find it. I recently acquired the Leisure Suit Larry bundle, and have been eyeing it, but I suppose theoretically I should finish all the half-finished games sitting on my PC..... (sigh). Been wondering if I shld get Dead Reefs, but theoretically I should finish (see above).... sigh :-/

I'm still running around MO:UL, waiting for it start up again. I did finish RealMyst via Gametap and loved it -- most of the Myst games are there. Not bad for $10 a month, plus MOUL.

Guys, I don't know about this specific game you're talking about, but if you're doing a game that's not point and click, you will often find that you can set mouse/camery sensitivity. If you find your'e getting that sort of motion-sickness feeling, try setting these to "least sensitive". Switching off your shadows also helps, especially if they're moving shadows. As a last resort, setting your graphics a bit lower so there are less super-sharp textures could help for two reasons: On lower-end PC's it could smooth your framerate; also, I find that seeing too many moving textures in front of my eyes, sort of confuses my brain, and gives me that motion-sickness feeling where you feel you want just close your eyes for a minute. Do you know what feeling I'm talking about?
Anyway, Jelena, what you describe there definitely sounds like a framerate issue, and setting some of your settings lower (even the music will help), to take the strain off your CPU, should improve this issue for you.

Hope this will get me back into adventuring. Never really got into Dreamfall when it was just released. After finishing TLJ, I'll give it another try.
