Commonly known as "King of the Blues", B.B. King is a major part of music history. His guitar playing style has been a major influence of rock guitarists for decades. World famous guitarists like George Harrison and Eric Clapton owes a lot to him. He's almost 80 years old, but is still touring.
A gallery of B.B. King pictures can be found on his official website:

Status : Offline | thanks, petter, for a great little bio on mr. king...
of course, i thought everybody knows who b.b. king is... silly me
but then, as someone pointed out to me yesterday, it is all relative to your interests in life... she obviously had nothing to say about mr. king but lit right up as she gushed about meeting dale earnhart, the famous race car driver, 3 months before he died...
yes, i think i will have a picture... i'll post it if it turns out...
stooge... i have no idea how tall he is as he was sitting down during the concert and in the bus...
his performance was awesome... he had an eight piece band behind him... 4 brass bass keyboard guitar drums
some of the songs he played: the thrill is gone caladonia nobody loves me but my mother lonesome christmas let the good times roll call it stormy monday playing with my friends
he will be 78 in september... he is smooth... his playing is impeccable... his voice strong and full of loving life...
i am a lucky girl.........

Status : Online | Yes, you are so lucky!!!!! Even if he just played The Thrill Is Gone and Call It Stormy Monday over and over and that was all he played, I would have been in heaven.
I can't envision how great his sound was in person!
Oh Stooge, he has diabetes too, whether your kind or not, have no clue and I would say he is not letting it drag him down.
We are so jealous of you Sennebec and also happy that you got to see him.

| Deleted User | I saw B.B. perform on Letterman tonight. I think they show it here exactly one week after it's aired on NBC. So if you happened to watch it last week you should have seen him.
