Great news that Microids is back and the game has been in production since June.

What sounds good: - More police investigation! That was one of the best things in Still Life. - Victoria is back. Coudln't have Still Life 2 without her.
What sounds bad: - No Gus this time. I'm prbobably the only one who'll complain about that, though... - Being able to play as the victim? I hope it's not what it sounds like. Please don't have them put stealth and timed sequences into the game... - Real-time 3D. Eek. I doubt the new graphics will look half good or be as atmospheric as the ones in Still Life. And I truly hope we'll have paintings in this game too. They really made the game come to life (no pun intended).
Also, I wonder what the subtitle of the game will be. You can't have a sequel without a subtitle.

The atmosphere of Still Life really glued me to the computer, I just loved the dark and gritty look. My expectations for this sequel are enormous which is indeed a good way of getting disappointed in some way. *shrugs* Hopefully they'll be able to create an equally atmospheric experience in some new fashion.
Temporary guest in your life.

I never did finish it because of that laser puzzle but what I played was fun. I never did figure out why she stopped to make cookies when she was suposed to be after a suspect though. I never saw very much logic in that. LOL This is why I liked Post Mortem a little better and it didn't run into any impossible puzzles it it and was able to complete it.

Star Trek 1-6 Original Crew  Postmortem - Gus Macpherson)
Star Trek 7 Original and Next Generation (Still Life - switches between Gus and Victoria)
Star Trek 8-10 Next Generation (Still Life 2 - Victoria takes over)

Playing as the victim, eh?  on't like the sound of that, unless you solve the crime in the afterlife......

Still Life was one of my favorite adventure games that year and I was very anxious for the sequel, then very saddened when the company was shut down.
I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for news on this and can't wait to get it.

Been hoping for this announcement since the last game, I loved it. I hope its alot harder this time around though, the puzzles where a bit too easy. And I also hope they keep the gritty, gruesome atmosphere about the game, Its what made it stand out so much

Please don't make me Bake or for that matter, Cook, Clean, drink, eat or picking what to wear. Leave that stuff for the Nancy games.
