I figured this would be the best place because they're a definite 'kind' of adventure game. As in, they fit into this category much easier than they do in any other. But if it's not, I'm sure the mods will move it.

I don't think there are any kids here anyway?
You know what I've always wanted to play, but haven't ever been able to find? One of those Japanese Dating Simulation games. Like the hentai ones, but not so pornographic. I think. Either way, they're quite popular in Japan.
Hmm, I've never played one of those either. Just seen a parody in Excel Saga. They did seem to be constructed in a way very similar to the hentai games.
I did play a couple of those hentai games though (see? someone actually admits that) but overall I wasn't very impressed. I mean, sure, the pictures are cute, but these aren't really very good games, at least not the ones I've seen (then again, I guess that's not the point). Way too linear, no freedom of movement to speak of, just going from one scene to another. I do think however that they could be classified as adventures.
The only game that had hentai content (not much, but it was there) and was fun to play at the same time was the adult version of Knights of Xentar (kind of a RPG parody). Very entertaining and not at all serious. I like that in a game. And it had some pretty pictures to boot
PS: Isn't it funny that the forum's Big Brother filtering software is not bothered by 'hentai' at all but poor Mr. Hitchc0ck gets the shaft? I guess the software isn't prepared for the rotten foreigners.
I forgot my sig.

Fair 'nuff. I've never seen one, much less played one, so I was just kinda going by the name Simulations in the subject when I suggested it was off-topic

Can't help you with downloads, but I know of an online store that has a bunch of that kind of stuff. They actually have a whole bunch of stuff imported from Japan, some pretty hard to find console games, etc. I bought some items from them before and they are very friendly to deal with. The url is right here .
