(BTW: how long does it take to develop a txt adventure??) Well, that depends, of course. This one is really short but I don't want to give many details I estimate um... ~20 hours of development for this one. ~100 hours for an average text-adventure. Both of them without study time.
Sounds interesting...but why so many seagulls?? You see, I asked Stooge if he wanted to work in this game (in a main-role) but I didn't have any money to pay him, so I promised him that the game would have lots of seagulls (Stooge likes seagulls).

I love txt adv. that let you do that those things...or at least have an hilarious answer after you type that kind of commands... YES! Although the adventure is short, it will be very interactive and the responses are definitely funny. I'm putting a lot of attention in the details.

Hmm, I thought those were called victorola or something... but I know what you mean. Wooden box with a crank and a big fat horn. Absolutely no electronics, yet fully functional.

"Victrola" is a trademark of Victor Talking Machines Co. and its main feature was that the sound didn't come out from a big horn but from a speaker in the box.
But it seems that "vitrola" is the Spanish translation of "gramophone". That's odd - I'm sure I've read it many times as an English word.

YES! Although the adventure is short, it will be very interactive and the responses are definitely funny. I'm putting a lot of attention in the details. So, if I type: "Toss vitrola to x", what will the answer be like?

But you can play a record in the vitrola
And I urge you to try as many things as you can I'm working on some very funny responses. Stooge is going to help me also so expect the unexpected.
(this is an amazing marketing campaign!)

Stupid question - how do you know she's a refined lady? How do you know she would not kick your ass because, say, she does boxing?
But you can play a record in the vitrola Unless it's Pink Floyd I'm not interested...

...whatever, I'm gonna watch a horror movie!

| Deleted User | Cool Rael, by looking at this thread lots of people are interested in it. I do like the topic and now I know Stooge loves seagulls. No wonder there's a picture of him with a seagull flying in the background.
Green slime , looks like it involves with some alien. And its good to know that there's humour inside it. Keep posted until its fnished okay!
