Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

And now we end with Caroline-- um, what shall we call it? Ah yes--boogying.
I'd say it's been a rather hectic week here, no?

Does this cost you an arm and a leg?

What an interesting question. Did you mean it to sound so condescending and judgemental? Are you asking me to justify spending money on education? Is education ever wasted? I think not. Is something only justified if the cost is GUARANTEED to be returned with profit? Is the purpose of life to only pay the mortgage or to enhance one's total overall experience?
I am having fun. I am learning. I am feeling so much younger this year than I did last year.
I am studying something that [s]interests [/s], [s]fascinates[/s], [s]absorbs[/s], fulfills me. I am finally doing what I wanted to do 30 years ago but was prevented from doing by family expectations of me. I've spent my youth living an exemplary and hard working life as businesswoman, wife, mother and obedient daughter. I'm almost 50 for crying out loud. I have to be allowed to have my own life sooner or later. 'Nuff said.
My decision. My hard work. My growth. My satisfaction.
Does this cost you an arm and a leg? Nothing's free anymore. The text books alone cost a small fortune. But I am extremely happy and totally engaged with my studies.

Almost 50?
No, can't be.
You sound like you're in mid 30 or so.
Honest.
