So yeah, I was able to eventually procure a copy of the Duckman game, and played it this week.

It's a pretty great game, and I was very impressed.

Good points is that it has a suitably bizarre and surrealist storyline, especially nearer the end. The puzzles are smart and all work quite well.

Bad points, it's just very short. I finished it in two days.

But overall I highly enjoyed it.

Your thoughts?

Deleted UserNo-one replied?? Amazing.

Yeah, our obnoxious Duckman is great. I especially liked the two-moods feature.  Memorable moments for me were the Chinese laundry and the 3 or 4 different ways you can kill saccherine-sweet cutie-cute Fluffy and Uranus.

Certainly one of the more bizarre games out there. Bizarre in a good way.

The funny thing about Duckman is that it looks like it's for kids... but really isn't.
I forgot my sig.

I love that game!
I even started watching the cartoon after I played it. The voices are great too, especially Cornfed and Duckman himself.

Started playing it, definitely an adult game, lost it in one of my moves! :'( And Randy gave me the copy I had. :'(

We can be heroes, just for one day.

Deleted UserYour best bet is gametz.com. Copies on ebay are either illegal or the original boxed ones are offered for 40-50 dollars.

I got mine off of Ebay. It's the original game in a box, and it was also still shrink-wrapped! Too bad everything's in German, though. (Except for the game itself, fortunately)

I just downloaded mine, 'cause I'm that evil

But having done so and utterly enjoyed it, I'll be definitely trying to pick up a legit copy. Has NOBODY here actually played it all the way through, apart from Betje? It's very much worth trying a shot.
Especially by the end of the game, where things just go completely in-bloody-sane.

Yeah, I did. In fact, I must admit it's one of the few games that I finished without a walkthrough.  :-[

Thanks. eBay express had one shrink wrapped copy, so I snagged it. It was probably too high a price for the game, but I had to have it.
