Status : Offline | That sounds a lot different than Aura 1. I never finished that one because I din't understand the story or the puzzles. I am not good at hard puzzles anyway. I need a good story with what you might call simple puzzles.

Status : Offline | Oddly enough I adored Aura 1. It made sense to me. This is much more 3rd person because you get to see Umang chatting away to this repulsive dude but at least there are no conversation trees, just cut-scenes.
I quite liked the climbing out the window bit and the minor stress of stalking around in the dark (and getting lost twice). At least Umang warns himself (me) when danger is close by.
Despite the 3rd person aspect of the game, you do wander around in 1st person, the sense of immersion is quite high, especially with the lights off.
But just as Aura 1 opened with a huge integrated puzzle of lots of interconnecting machinery before you started your journey, so does this game. I haven't completed this stage properly yet and if I have one complaint it's that my brain isn't working properly. Can't blame the game for that.
It's playing perfectly on XP, the music enhances the atmosphere and the environment I'm in is well drawn and attractive. I just wish I could make some progress.
The complaints people had of Umang looking wooden in Aura 1 were justified but in this game I think they've improved that quite a lot although the lips don't sync so it looks like a foreign film dubbed into English. But that's okay.

Status : Offline | I didn't think it was that too hard. There were so tought puzzles in it, but like-wise there were some real easy ones too. The begining is the toughest as a whole. Some of the hardest puzzles still await you Caroline, but there are lots of really easy ones too.

Yeah. Don't psych yourself out and you'll do fine.

That one was a stinker. After fooling with it a while, I gave it up and looked at a walkthrough, and you know what I found out? The solution in the walkthrough only worked when the puzzle hadn't been touched. After working on the puzzle a while, even after moving the pieces back to their original configuration, the solution in the walkthrough did not work. I still haven't figured out what was going on. Maybe after moving the pieces "too much" some of the pieces don't turn when they should. I don't know whether it was intended to be this way or not, but it sure messes you up if you're used to solving by experimenting.
