He basically talks mostly about the first location. Even the screenshots that he left comments on are only commented on for the first location. He went on to tear it apart for being too difficult, yet the puzzle he chose to spotlight with a pic and caption was pretty damned easy and straightforward. My guess is that he got frustrated with the early puzzles, then ran through a walkthrough through the rest of the game and never really played it.
In looking at the number of reviews he has done, I really don't think he plays them thoroughly enough and belts out a review after experiencing relatively little of the game. So yeah, the good grade for Sherlock is a real shocker.

"At one point, you McGyver together a blowgun out of a pipe and a hypodermic syringe,"...... imagine that.... what will game developers think of next ...thats something that you can hardly make in real life, right? It's not so natural as running around shooting stuff with rocket launchers....
"However, some of the cutscenes are rather wordy, and there isn't any way to skip them or even fast-forward through specific lines. In some ways, this actually adds to the gameplay because it forces you to concentrate on every word spoken, much like the obsessive Holmes would have--or not. Holmes is awfully talky and obnoxious a lot of the time, so there are moments when you long for the ability to just hit the escape button to shut him up."
I always thought that when you are playing an adventure game (heck, with any game that doesn't expect you to have a concentration focus of a golden fish) you expect to know whats going on...if you don't talk to characters, how will you know what's going on? And how does the ability to read and think on what a character is saying add to the gameplay? Wasn't that supposed to be part of the gameplay in the first place? :

macgyver together the blowpipe? give him tlj and have him figure out how to fish the keys out of the train tracks! i bet he'll blow a fuse!
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

I thought the same thing. It seems pretty likely doesn't it? [smiley=detective.gif]
