Status : Online | In Jeff Strand's novel MANDIBLES, thousands of giant ants went on a rampage in Tampa, Florida. Now, they're back...and only one person can stop them! Could it be YOU?
The answer will soon be revealed in the official MANDIBLES "efeat The Ants!" Contest. Beginning March 15th, contest participants will receive a portion of the thrilling saga of Humanity Vs. Oversized Red Fire Ants every three days...but only for as long as you survive! Each cliffhanger ends with three possible courses of action. Two of the three will lead you further into this tale of insect madness, while the third choice leads only to a horrific fate as ant chow!
With each installment, the pool of survivors will grow smaller and smaller, until only ten remain. These ten will engage in the final confrontation with the dastardly ants...but only one will make it out alive!
PRIZES: Humanity's savior will receive a $25 gift certificate to the online bookseller of their choice. In addition, he or she will receive a copy of HORRORS! 365 SCARY STORIES, a 734-page hardcover anthology that includes "Scarecrow's Discovery" by Jeff Strand, and an ultra-rare copy of the first (and only) issue of TWISTED MAGAZINE, featuring Jeff Strand's demented tale "The Private Diary of Leonard Parr."
The last nine participants to perish will receive consolation prizes in the form of books by authors who are not Jeff Strand.
