| Deleted User | Hi!
yes - work WILL intrude!
I don't always have web access either - only e-mail with no linkinging to any web addresses... :'(
I don't remember much of Malcom - but I NEED the closure!!! The game I was playing failed at what must have been VERY close to the end. I had a few running problems while playing too - and that broke the flow of the game too.
I was really looking forward to playing it properly this time. I'll get there in the end

Software First (I have received orders from this company, based in the UK, in literally 3 days after placing order, plus they have a nice selection of games not available in U.S. - Largo Winch, Exotica Island, etc.)
Playing Games Interactive - some of their prices are high, but they do have hard to get games.
Randy, I have a question: is it safe to order from Playing Games Interactive? Do they ship outside the USA? Do they ship fast? Have you ever orderd from them?
And one about TSS: I'll take it that as a reviewer, you get the chanche to order alot from the internet. In other words, have you ever ordred from TSS and got your order? Do you know someone like that? I really do hope they're not frauds.... :-[

I'm not Randy, but Playing Games has always been very fast with shipping my games and very good at answering emails. They do ship outside of the USA, but their overseas prices are a little steep - possibly to cover the cost of occasional lost items. You can read about their prices on their site here
http://www.playinggames.bigstep.com/generic.html?pid=31
And one about TSC:
You mean TSS?
I really do hope they're not frauds....
I don't think TSS are frauds. They really do sell games, even if they ship slowly and apparently choose the slowest, cheapest method of shipping by default.
What country are you in? You asked about shipping outside the USA. Overseas orders are going to take longer, especially if the package gets held up in customs. And if TSS shipped overseas they may have shipped surface (by boat) because it's cheaper.

I live (please don't kill me) in Israel.

For your own peace and well-being, do NOT deal with the Software Society, aka TSS. I have never dealt with more frustrating and dishonest people (or person) in my entire life.
The latest...after yet another email exchange, I requested they reship via priority mail. after a week of waiting, i emailed to check on the progress. Well, apparently they have reshipped MEDIA mail, so they are basically saying "screw you customer, thank you for the money, it's nice to have it for 3 months while you get nothing..muahahaha"
I have written polite emails for 2 months now to them and this latest bit, telling me to just sit and wait for my $90+ dollars worth of games for another 4 weeks or more, it's just too much.
Of course, I'm quite sure they never mailed the games again at all. I'm aware of several lies they have told me so far concerning this transaction, and I have no reason to trust them now.
Just please...save yourselves. That is all. rant over.
Ya know, i'm a very kind, laid back person, it's not easy to get me this angry. If i had any means to put this "company" out of business, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Deep breath...whew...it's just not worth it...
Now to play a game to feel good again...sigh.

Status : Offline | This thread was started back in the middle of December and around that time I directed you'all to the feedback TSS had on Ebay at the time. If any of you are still tempted to buy from this vendor, check out the feedback in just the last week:
http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=tss&ssPageName=L2
IMHO, there is more going on here than just using slow delivery modes eg. media mail. Even the slowest mail shouldn't take more than 10 days to anywhere in the U.S.! Also, continue to note TSS's responses to the bad feedback- they don't have that ring of credibility!
I understand that when you're selling a lot of software, there can be screw-ups, but what I use as a measure is other vendors. There is one Ebay vendor, essentially a single woman business, that routinely puts up 15-25 games at a time. She is an absolute gem! She responds to email overnite and you always receive the game by Priority Mail (for a standard $4.95-5.95) within 3-4 days, always protectively packed inside. The common denominator in this situation is honesty, integrity, organization, concern for the customer, and the understanding that over the long term your business depends on happy customers. TSS often has some very interesting games for sale- I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole!

The future ain't what it used to be!

I don't think Ebay will act until enough customers complain directly to Ebay- it's hard to tell if that's occurring. You would think that with the number of negative responses, some buyers would be reporting it to Ebay. On the other hand, this TSS guy has a lot of excuses- maybe Ebay is falling for them!

I think by keeping us informed the way you do, you're probably achieving your goal in an indirect manner. Good for you!!!
I think it's really sad the way they're treating you. And I think you're still very polite about it!!

SirDave....I wish i could report tss to ebay, but since i purchased directly from their website and not through auction, i can't. I suppose I could bid on one of their auctions, pay for it, not get it, then complain....NOT!

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Anyone who buys from TSS thru an Ebay auction now deserves what they get if they ignore the tremendous negative feedback.
But, in your case, I totally sympathize with your situation: Their website is very attractive and looks like a totally reliable vendor site. Heck! Even now, I found myself tempted by the description and presentation of their games on that site.
It's a darn shame, but it's getting to the point that, in addition to their shipping delays, one wonders whether buyers aren't getting their games at all because they didn't exist (ie. weren't in stock) in the first place!

The future ain't what it used to be!
