There is a service that the only emails it allows to come through to your inbox are those who are in your address book.  Any email from someone who has never emailed you before is returned and they just have to click and send it again to get through.  Obviously this non-human stops spammers as they can't return the email.
oes anyone know the name of this service, I can't remember.

How dumb of me

Well, in that case, I think the only thing that can be done is to apply a message rule, am I right?

the message rules on OE don't work worth crapola, besides which there are numerous ways around them.  I have already received emails with forbidden words in subject lines and message bodies

I'm thinking on this one. I don't remember seeing that kind of protection in OE.

I found this though: Options -> Confirmations -> Never send...

That could help.
