Status : Online | Got a fair bit into Chapter 3 but am now stuck with trying to find the key to operate the platform - what is it with these keys? Got the ball thing operating but now need to find Gina who I presume is in the tunnel that the turtles use between the lake and the sea, which I also presume is accessible through that statue. And something to do with the hand position of the poultry statue.....? Oh well, clear head tomorrow and all that. My brain seriously needs some zzzzzs.

Status : Online | Haven't got quite that far just zapped that idiot soldier with the neuralizer device but it didn't work. I have the three marbles from the device but scratching my head what to do next. In inventory I have all the gear from the briefcase, the plastic bag, duct tape, ring. three marbles, and the envelope. I can't go down the stairs because of the guards, haven't figured out how to get that ball out of the cube thingy. Ok about to try to tackle some more of this game this evening, despite running into all these roadblocks I'm really enjoying the game. Atleast I haven't come across any illogical puzzle solutions yet.

Status : Online | Making fair progress through Chapter 3, HOLY "beam me up Scotty". That Ameba is some device........lol. Anyhow I need to distract that Spider lady and I know it has something to do with a bottle of stench that smells like a decaying corpse  speaking of corpse that archaeologist with the whip and hat under that boulder isn't who I think it is.......is it..lol) but how and where do I use it? I have tried it in every place throughout the tiki temple but no go. I used the dentist tools to pry open the bottle so Brian knows just how foul the smell is.
So the question is where do I use the bottle of stench?

Have you got the spider from under Indie's hat? If you have, leave the statue's mouth and the room below and go to the door where the guards argue and click the stench on it. Then throw the spider through the opening. The idea is to get spider woman to head to the other side of the temple.
I'm onto chapter 4 now and just cruising around Alaska. There seem to be a heck of a lot of objects to remember are available which is a bit of a worry. I think this was part of the demo that was available as a download earlier in the year but it's all new to me thanks to it being too much for my dialup to handle.
You need any more help to get out of 4 just type me a line. I'm into my holidays now (gleeful rubbing of hands) so I'll be traveling around the world via my computer and Platypus Tours.

I made it to Chapter 4, thanks I figured it out the rest of that stuff in Chapter 3 eventually on my own Haven't solved anything in Alaska yet just gathering up a ton of stuff. I guess I need to find a way to make a fishing rod, poke a hole through the ice and catch some salmon which will snap Joshua out of his trance so he can remember that darn password...................polar bears have to figure into this equation as well as that guy with the bear costume.
As much as I enjoy moving Brian around, I hope some point in the next two chapters we get to assume the identity of Gina. That's one thing that is a little disappointing (for the most part this game is great) is there hasn't been much of her in the game unlike in the first RUNAWAY. I know that's her role the designers set out for her to play the pretty damsel in distress.

By the looks I don't think we'll ever play Gina unless they decide to do that in another sequel and I doubt we'll see her until the last chapter. Oh, & here's a hint about that fishing pole - there isn't one. That's just another red herring (hah!) to throw you off course. Frustrating when I consider how much time I spent in meticulous pixel searches of the ground around Simon's house, but it's an adventure game I suppose, not a movie.

Status : Online | Well you jumped ahead of me as I'm still bungling my way in Alaska, lol...........BTW, the believabiltity scale went out the window when I got that AMEBA device working.....lol. So it's ok I'm also a big fan of sci-fi in general
Ok, I got the hole in the ice cut. There should have been a gas tank hot spot instead of just the pick-up truck. I often find the answers by madly clicking every object I have on any hot-spot. I actually thought it was a long-shot that the pick-up gas thing would work. Now that I have my hole cut I have to get rid of that bear. Ben doesn't offer any pearls of wisdom. I think I have to complete his costume...........er bear outfit, so I need to find something to substitute for a bears head. I tried clicking on that Moose figure but nothing. The bear essence must factor in somehow also. I'm going to fumble around a bit more then I better head off to bed. Atleast if I can't figure it out I know who I can ask.......lol.
Ok, can you give me a tiny nudge what I should be doing next pls.

Status : Online | The moose head idea was a good one. Just think of all the things in your inventory that could be used to remove a head... And have you gone back to talk to Joshua again? and talked to the chef? When you do manage to get rid of the bear, just let me say ICK, ICK, ICK. Poor guy.
I'm stuck in Chapter 6.  When you get here and if you've played the Monkey Island game you'll understand how creepy it was that I mentioned it earlier.) There's this impossible riddle that I'm trying to work out. You might be able to help me if you're good at math logic puzzles. There are 4 men who have only 1 leg each on an island. Through some michance they have only one peg leg among the 4 of them. Now, they have 8 1/2 days to get to the port where a boat is scheduled to arrive. They devise a scheme whereby 2 of the men travel at a time to the port then one returns with the peg leg for the next trip. Each trip can only go at the speed of the slowest man. W can make the port in 1/2 day, C in 1, L in 2 1/2, and P in 5. Now, what couples would make each trip and which one would return?
As far as I can see each of the 3 slowest would have to make the trip at least once so that alone would bring them up to the 8 1/2 days, let alone the extra days needed to get someone back to the group with the leg. I'm beginning to suspect this may be another red herring, though if so it's a pretty elaborate one.

I really don't want to go throught the whole game again if I can avoid it, so if anybody can help me with a save near this point I would be most grateful. pm me or let me know how to get in touch with you.....or just send it to my profile email...
Thanks

Status : Online | Whoa it's been awhile since I played this game (December of last year) so bear with me. The key is to use that walkie-talkie to talk to the Mr. "yes sir" army dude (forgot his name). But you have to do it outside that statue. The way out is the way you came in.
Good luck

Am i not supposed to be up in the mouth of the tiki when the colonel and the spider lady walk into the room? what am i suposed to do with the whip? I'm not supposed to use the Ameba to escape? If not then i figure i'm supposed to somehow get the dumb ass soldier to drive me out? If you have a hint or know anything please let me know. P.S. I got the game a bit latter cause i'm not exactly in a country that gets these sort of things early. I can't even buy an original one if i wanted to.
