Is there a new Press Pack out? All I can find is one from a year ago.

Yes. 30 hours. What's your question?

I'm sure you probably can't answer this one in order to keep the suspense up, but I'm curious about whether the game is heavy on the puzzles, reading, or lots of locations in order to make the game length so long.
Either way, I'm looking forward to it as I am all of your games.

I am looking forward to 30 hours of this:
Quote: From Jonathan's interview with Pig-Min.com "The Lost Crown, does involve blood, a little gore and some menacing foes. Some will be conquered using your wits and ghosthunting skills, whereas others will require you to hide, escape or exorcise them."
Can we look forward to a January release for Lost Crown, and how is the new project coming along?

I'm really looking forward to this, as well as Dark Fall 3, if that's still going to be released in the future.
As GreyFuss said, will The Lost Crown come out in early January/February of 2007?
30 hours of gameplay sounds awesome.

Obviously, the actual length of play is up to the person who plays the game. I am always surprised (and in some cases startled) to read how long people take to play indie games. Some claim to have finished Dark Fall in 6 hours, with no walkthrough, others say they pottered about and enjoyed the game for a whole weekend.
So, why 30+ hours? Which I believe is the question being asked. It's an estimation..... and like all estimations, it is likely to be different from person to person. The fact is, I believe it will take more than 30+ hours to play The Lost crown, based on the amount of puzzles and exploration. Creating a longer game also means it has taken longer to produce. I can only hope that gamers, such as yourselves, enjoy the game. I know I enjoy wandering around the haunted town of Saxton, and exploring its myths and legends. The museum, especially, is a location likely to provide entertainment for at least a few hours....and that is one of many locations. It's a compact town, both in-game and real life. Polperro has proven to be the perfect setting for an adventure game, and the locals (from high flyers to toothless fishermen) adore being represented in such an alternative medium. I just hope I've done the place justice! There's more info about Polperro on The 'real' Barrow Hill website at the Barrow Hill website (http://www.barrow-hill.co.uk/features/therealbarrowhill/therealbarrowhill.htm). (Sorry for the long link, I can't get the URL tags to work. A refresher course in HTML may be in order! :-?)

The interview with Pig-Min (Post Indie Gaming) was a lovely experience. I haven't conducted an interview with a Korean website before, but hope that it is the first of many. Thankfully, for us, the interview was also published in English. I'm not sure the Google translating tools would have been up to the job! There are other interviews being published (in the next couple of months) which should provide plenty of insight into the creative process (of writing and designing) The Lost Crown: a ghosthunting adventure, as well as revealing new screenshots and puzzle elemenets. So, keep your eyes peeled.

Well, not so much why but how, which I think you answered anyway.
I know based on your interviews that you love to explore and read lots of little tidbits about a place. I think that really showed in Lights Out. I recall reading that after LO came out and you got lots of player feedback, that you felt you might have put too much emphasis on the texts in the game and not enough on player challenges and to-dos (or something like that). There were other issues at play as well with the release version of LO, but no point in getting into those.
Anyway, my motivation behind the post stems from being extremely interested and anxious to play The Lost Crown. I'm very much looking forward to it and was trying to get a feel for what to expect. I was also looking through your behind the scenes stuff and found your work with the birds to be most interesting.
