Had the exact same reaction! No way is that going to be among pics 1-5. So I kept looking for a more recent wacky comedy game, with that style of graphics and of course got nowhere. :
And good one Aya with the Barbie game. Now I know I just won't have to waste my guesses on the nr. 10 pics ever again. I'd never would have thought Barbie would pop up in an adventure game trivia. Don't think there's a chance I'll ever guess one of those nr. 10s.

I agree with this, and I also think that A& was quite hard to be in "easy" (1 point).
This week so far I find numbers 2, 6 and 8 completely unknown (nº 7 seems a bit familiar), Im waiting in expectation until next friday...

Well, that's the advantage of never having finished that game (got so annoyed with the half arsed Dutch-English translation mix that I uninstalled it halfway through and sold it on ebay) and keeping in mind locations I hadn't seen yet. One day I'll buy an import version and actually finish the game and then won't be able to guess these shots either.
And talk about week 7. Really don't like this one. Too hard!

btw, is papabrody going to be the new bastich? his pms are gradually taking the form of cold blooded kills, just like bastich's (although papa did have a wrong guess, so he still needs some practice to obtain bastichity! )
now, it may be a bit early to comment, but superedy looks like he's losing some ground this week, and if someone kills papa's double pointer for #6 and no one kills lady kestrel's for #8, then things may get really crowded at the top! even more if shany turns out to be the one guessing #6! maybe this week will turn out being more interesting than i thought!

Status : Offline | and papa hits the top! it changes every 2 weeks mind you... so who will be the next #1 on week 10? shany maybe? she's not too far!
lady k goes back to her good self, after a couple of shaky weeks, and manages to get closer to second place, after superedy losing some ground... stopping papa's double pointer also allowed her to stay in view of first place... shany keeps following closely, waiting for a moment of weakness from one of the top 3 to strike! same goes for wimli, who keeps touching the top 10, but never quite makes it... will he make it this week, or is blount going to breeze right over him and smash his top10 dreams? the battles are also raging for a place in the top 5, with ziobeppe reentering, kicking adrian back out... just look at the difference between #5 and #8 though... 2.5 pts!!! and ragfox and taio are not to be underestimated either... let's see what will happen this week... as far as i'm concerned, no place is even remotely secured

I would never have gotten Echo Night: Beyond, since last time I saw it in the tourney it was some crazy bonus question. Didn't think it would show up again.
I probably saw the Backpacker screenshot on 'A for Adventure'. Too bad they changed the website's interface, it's much harder finding screenshots there now...

On the other hand, I was sure that:
6 looked like an independent game,
7 was an graphic IF game, and
8 seemed like a consoleport game (I guessed Shadow of memories)... so I wasnt far from the correct ones.
I got the other six screenshots OK, so Im going quite well.
Week 8 seems a bit harder...

Status : Offline | Oh darn, I should have guessed Time Stand Still. Seeing the full screenshot, now I know why that shot looked so familiar. : Oh and Sanitarium. Funny how a cut out from a screenshot can look like it something else entirely. Never would I have thought the red part to be the clown's nose. Plus, the skin around the eye looked like fish skin, not like a painted clown building. Oh well, wild imagination I guess.
And that top ten will only get further and further away from me I guess. I got nothing week 8, not even a clue or idea for most shots. :-/

Status : Offline | now that's uncanny! yet another even week finds two ppl tied at first place!!! no new names this time though
so, ok, i admit it, week 8 was one of the hardest weeks in tourney history! but it builds character!
as a result of the high difficulty level, lady k lost some more ground and shany managed to get .5 pt closer to her... at this point i could say that the final order is far from being determined for places 1-4, but there isn't much chance for a new entry, unless smth major happens
which is not what can be said for the fifth place of course... ziobeppe may still be there, but then we got three ppl coming from behind, each .5 pt apart from the next!!! and ragfox and taio aren't too far behind either... taio seems to be clinging on to his top10 place, despite blount's advances... in fact, taio had the 3rd highest score during week 8!
two things that stood out for me during this week:
1. some of the most hilarious guesses for pic#1!!! i am saying hilarious mainly because the pic obviously showed a big, naked butt! and i couldn't stop laughing trying to imagine a pic like that in some of the games that were guessed!
2. the fact that there are players that will not make a guess unless they're 100% sure about it, even though they have plenty of guesses left... somebody did actually guess lifestream for #6, and would have blocked papa's double-pointer... but they didn't want the guess to count until they were absolutely certain! papa has to thank that person for keeping him at the top!

I also inmediately recognized the background color, but the eyes of the little monster made me think that it was a more cartoony game.
