Exploring Azoundria is a browser-based text-based MMORPG that has been around for about a year and a half. Originally a hobby/experimental project it has gained more popularity than expected and is still expanding. Over 1000 players have registered for the game, currently made up of hundreds of text files, and still more are coming.

However it came to my attention a few months ago just how buggy and full of error the game was. Setting out to fix the multitude of errors just wasn’t going to work. Fixing one thing broke another, and unexpected things happened often.

But I didn’t give up. Instead I decided to create a new version on the side behind the scenes, fix all the bugs in it, add new features to it, and when it’s all finished transfer everyone over. As part of this new version we are restructuring our team, and accepting many new staff to help create the multitude of new features and rebuild the game.

A variety of skills are needed. Writers, artists, programmers, testers, developers, researchers, moderators, web designers, managers, etc… A team structure list was created which now functions as our entire team setup page:

Although we prefer those who are willing to stay active in the project, any help is appreciated. If you are able to offer some, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I'd like to take up a long term writing project and have worked in the game industry for several months.  In all the graphic games I've seen, the story nearly always seems lacking and I'd be happy to work on a text-based MMORPG.

I'll try to contact you via the website.
