I thought the game was suppose to be free.
I read the interview and the game sounds most interesting.

I thought the game was suppose to be free.

Not to the best of my knowledge!
"Other Worlds" was freeware.

But Atropos Studios is a Company and is employing some 'professionals'.  This involves considerable financial outlays (I've no idea how much!) for "
iamonds in the Rough".

I think that it's obvious that Alkis wants to at the very least cover all his outlays... and I sincerely hope hope that he makes a darned good profit also (similarly for ALL 'Indie' Developers).

Who's Alkis?  :

I read it the day it was posted while I was eating my lunch.  I enjoyed it.

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

Yes, I did just now - very impressive, Alkis!

Diamonds in the Rough looks like a big improvement (graphics wise) from Other Worlds (which I loved playing).  I'm looking forward to playing this one, too...
