I recently updated an old text adventure of mine for Windows :
The Hollywood Murders -
This text adventure puts you into the shoes of a hardboiled 1950's private eye. You are about to begin a case that will either bring you a nice fat paycheck... or death. Features photorealistic graphics, sound effects, and an Infocom-style parser.
It now includes embedded graphics and sounds, and doesn't look quite as clunky as the old Dos version did. I also fixed a number of bugs/typos and spruced up the graphics a bit.
It's a relatively short game, and if you have an interest in mystery or noir-ish sorts of titles, you might want to check it out.
You can find a link on my JA page - http://michaelzerbogames.justadventure.com/MichaelZerboGames2.shtm
or my regular website - http://www.freewebs.com/nameless/
The game should run on pretty much any Windows PC, even ancient machines. If any Mac or Linux people want to try the game, I can also send you the game files to try out... but I can't promise it'll work, as I don't have those operating systems to test on.
Thanks,
Michael
