You can play a lot of Sierra's old games on GameTap, but it's only available in the United States, as already mentioned in this thread. Fortunately GameTap is currenty expanding.

Since a few days they're also offering their services to Canada. Unfortunately, some games GameTap offers in the US, won't be available in Canada. Guess which games? That's right, all SIERRA titles. 'Something to do with rights and whatnot. So yeah, Sierra is very strict about their licenses, even if they don't intend to do anything with them at all.

I felt that way too without all the checking you have done.
I don't see a market for them at all if they do the same to them they did to the LSL games.

Deleted UserLuckily I already have most of the old compilations or singled Sierra games and no need to pay collectors prices for such outdated games today. ^^

Some people see problems and try to offer various solutions, though this may be chasing windmills, it at least spark discussions and constructive criticism

others like to take the apathetic approach and simply not purchase a product thinking that sends a message and it does, but the mesage is usually taken the wrong way

I prefer to chase the windmills

And said most sage Cide Hamete to his pen, "Rest here, hung up by this brass wire, upon this shelf, O my pen, whether of skilful make or clumsy cut I know not; here shalt thou remain long ages hence, unless presumptuous or malignant story-tellers take thee down to profane thee. But ere they touch thee warn them, and, as best thou canst, say to them:

Hold off! ye weaklings; hold your hands! Adventure it let none, For this emprise, my lord the king, Was meant for me alone.

I think it's not about fighting windmills. I think it's about letting Sierra know, that we don't buy any crap they offer us.
