I don't know if there are any fellow rail-fans here, but if so, feel free to pipe up. I LOOOOVE trains...especially exotic ones. The Voralberg Heritage from the games Syberia I and II was a BEAUTIFUL train that was right up my alley; lovely locomotive, with an awesome coach. Right now I'm working on blueprints of the coach for the fun of it.

So if there are any other fans of the Voralberg Heritage who drool as much as I do whenever I see the blasted thing...please post!!
Also, post any pics you have of the train; my gaming computer isn't connected to the 'Net, and I have no way of transferring files, so I'm useless in that department.  :-[

Also, support "The Voralberg Heritage Recovery and Restoration Fund!!"
So far our people have traced the Heritage's path; right now we need monetary support to fund a rail salvage expedition to raise and restore the Heritage's coach, and to follow the track to the engine, which is still in the cave of those annoying...toot-toot people.  >

Check out this fansite.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!!!

Wow...thanks for posting that link!!!

Also, I just discovered something while attempting to make the 'prints for the Heritage's coach which is causing me much difficulty: the inside of the confounded coach is bigger then the blasted outside!!  >

LOL!! More like the horror, though...the "inside is bigger then the outside" problem has plagued fans of various genres for a long time. For example...Star Wars fans have a hell of a time fitting the Millenium Falcon's interior inside itself, because the inside is bigger then the outside. And I know because I AM a Star Wars fan!!

To add to the design problems, there are two windows that lie on either side of the main entrance door to the Heritage's coach, but the inside of the coach shows no such windows. Also, if you look at the entrance door from the inside of the car, as well as the door to the display room from the inside, you'll notice that both doors are actually off-center. However, the entrance door is dead-center when viewed from the exterior, and the door from the atrium to the display room is lined up with the bedroom door, which IS dead-center. However, Syberia II continues to confuse the issue, by not only CENTERING the doors, but changing the shape of the coach's roof, even though it's the same on the inside. I'm gonna have to take this up with Mr. Sokal!!!  >
Surely they made blueprints when they designed the game, and it HAS to make sense SOMEhow. If anyone can find anything good pertaining to the train, I will love you forever!!!
