In fact I'm fairly certain the whole "Haunted Ship" thing has been done to death in the past. Can't think of any of them off the top of my head though - except perhaps Event Horizon (OK, it was in a space ship but it was still a ship )

I also saw The Ring 2 weeks ago in a sneak preview, and I was fairly impressed. Much like 13 Ghosts, I thought it had some pretty tense moments in it. Thumbs up!

Was that the original japanese version of The Ring or the american remake? The original was a pretty good low budget creeper. The first sequel goes a bit odd but it's still pretty good.
-- ah, just noticed you said "sneak preview" , that probably means the new american version right?
