I usually buy most of my games via ebay/half aswell, though when I don't I usually use gogamer.com. They have been a very good store that I've used for years now, cheap shipping and usually a cheaper price then most retail sites like ebgames, etc. Plus they have sales quite often on games.

I agree.
For non-adventure games, gogamer.com has a good selection, good prices and they are very reliable. If you can't get a specific commercial AG title here at JA or directly from the publisher/developer, they also carry more than a few including some ususally hard to find titles. Same goes for several other genres like RPG, action, strategy and sim.
Cheers, Terry

Status : Offline | I've only bought from the JA store once, but was very pleased. I bought some indie games that I otherwise would have had to buy from each developer separately, so it was very convenient. And the shipping was quick as well. It's become the first place I check when I'm shopping for indie games.

Another place I've used is amazon.com. Amazon is a "hit" or "miss" - you either get a good seller, or someone who takes too long to process your order and you don't get the item until 3 weeks later... >
Also, a very good place is ebay - you can see how reliable the seller is by their feedback number. I've never had a bad experience (yet)...

Status : Offline | I tend to dislike giving credit card information to small business sites since I don't know if they will be as good at security as the larger business sites. If JA will take credit cards through PayPal is there any way to have them send you a PayPal invoice so that you can pay by logging directly into www.paypal.com? The JA site seems to take you to a PayPal link, but I'd still rather pay by going directly to PayPal.

I think this link is provided as a convenience to the buyer, but I imagine you could go directly to Paypal.com and use the JA Store as the recipient/seller.
But the link takes you directly to Paypal's secure server (See the "s" after "http"? That means "secure" so you are paying directly through Paypal. The JA Store is just the recipient - who you paying through Paypal.

You are paying directly through PayPal. We never see any of your billing or credit card information.

I also like CDAccess.com. They have some new games and lots of older ones.
Amazon.com has never let me down. Chips and Bits is good too.

Status : Online | I ordered the latest Broken Sword 4 from the JA Store because I couldn't get it in the store with no NA publisher announced. I recieved the game within 10 business days and during that time Dave at the store answered all my email inquiries quickly and courteously concerning this game and we also discussed other adventure games. I was so pleased with their level of service that I placed a second order for THE LONGEST JOURNEY DVD, again because I couldn't get the game over here in Canada. I already owned the original European 6 CD version but it doesn't run as well on Windows XP. I had read the DVD version ran much better on the new OS and I also hate swapping multiple CDs to install a game. This game also arrived just over a week later and it runs beautifully on my PC. I will not hesitate to order from the JA store a third time.
To Randy, Dave and the rest of the crew running the store keep up the great work
