What? No one's mentioned The Dig yet?

The Dig does have some good music, although I didn't think to list it because I haven't played it yet. But I was impressed by the selections from it on the LucasArts anniversary soundtrack.

You can hear more at the Mixnmojo  website. After repeated efforts, I was eventually able to get a used version of the Dig soundtrack on ebay. But Mixnmojo actually has both versions - the tracks from the soundtrack CD and the tracks from the game (which are a little different). They also have tracks from LucasArts games that never had a soundtrack CD at all.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I'm always interested in tracking down game music.

Does anybody know if there's a place to d/l MP3's of Syberia's music, or some of the main themes?

I did like the music I heard, even if I wasn't always wild about the games themselves.

Wait a minute ... based on what I said earlier, if I listen to Syberia theme music, I might appreciate the game moreso.
Well, we can't have that happening.

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.

Omikron: NOMAD SOUL

C'mon I mean DAVID BOWIE made an album around the soudtrack he wrote for this game.  It was so amazing to score tickets in the game to go see his virtual band play.  The 3D models moved and looked like Bowie and Reeves Gabrel and his other musicians.  So COOL!

Myst III and IV are my all time favorites.  Both CDs have become staples on my frequent long car trips.  The Serenia theme with the cello solo (Revelation) and the main theme from Edanna (Exile) are my favorites from those.

TLJ has an impressive soundtrack, but Dreamfall stands out, if for nothing else, for its music.  The opening theme is so cinematic, as well as the Stark theme at the beginning with the vocals.

Beyond Good and Evil is spectacular.   Shivers 2 was a favorite of mine when I first played it.

Return to Zork also holds a place in my heart.

Jennifer, I agree with you on the Exile and Revelations soundtracks-

Edanna (in Exile) is also one of my favorite themes, especially the beginning of where it goes into the drum beat with vocal.

Haven (in Revelations) is another great "background" theme songs Spoiler Alert(the part where the lion jumps out at you)

And, in Serenia (also in Revelations)– the Peter Gabriel song combined with the Serenia theme – (in the beginning of the "
ream" sequence)

I listen to these on my ipod - very nice for long work days
