Status : Offline | I'm not quite sure where you are, but if you've passed the pigs, try to use the horn again. (It won't work; it's broken.) Then just sail on until you are attacked by the buffalo. After that you use the grapnel. You simply keep trying it until you hit the proper spot(s). FYI, the grapnel generally works if you aim it at a rock.

Status : Offline | This is the part of the game that really annoyed me. If I'd been allowed to steer the boat myself I'd never have hit the buffalo. I hated the way the little boat/plane got destroyed.

Status : Online | I have got to the animals in the river, but can't get past the two buffalos, tried grapnel on rocks but nothing is happening? any clues please?
Aren't you supposed to anger one of the buffalos until he rams into the boat?
If this is not the case (and I'm thinking of a different animal), it's a case of pixel-hunting - look for a hotspot on the bottom right part of the plane's control panel.
