You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

I missed you all - I was able to sneak a peek at the forum occasionally - but couldn't log on (although I did once). We're not allowed to do that from the networked machines.
Anyone else tried this game?

Possibly - but I'm not finding it easy. The reviewer never said it was easy
Yes, Zelenhgorm is a magical (and quite unusual) world but it's lacking too much.

Hi Rael - lacking too much what? Is there something I don't know yet?
I saw the lovely new piccie of yourself and the missus, by the way - very nice

The actual gameplay reminds me of the Crystal Key in the way the transitions take place.
It didn't remind me of Crystal Key at all.
Zelenhgorm was almost like walking around inside a movie, with the movie continuing around you.

Well, I was really excited when I started playing it too but the excitement weared off soon. Nothing really happens in the game - not only it's very short (definitely one of the shortest adventures ever) but the story never advances. The best way I can describe my feelings about this game is that it seems like a "pilot episode" but, like I said in the review, this is supposed to be a game. I don't believe it's their intention, but Moloto are almost ripping off gamers with this product. The idea of episodes is very nice (though very risky) but they definitely need to put more content in each one of them.

And... welcome back!!
For some reason I like British English much better than the American variety Oh yes, I really love British English too - jolly good!

| Deleted User | Ok - I've played it non-stop for about three days now - and I had to peek at a walkthrough.
SPOILER ALERT.....
I didn't have the piece of metal to make they key with - and don't think I would have ever found it without the walkthrough..
END OF ALERT.
Otherwise it was fairly logical. I was put in the stocks and died so often I can't count the times.
Yes Rael- I see what you mean. It's just too short.
I really enjoyed it - and want to play the next instalment - but it's like having a luxury sized demo.
I was really disappointed when the 'To be continued' message displayed. That at least indicates how immersed I felt in it.
I hope the rest of the game episodes have a lot more content. Otherwise it's a normal sized game chopped into seven episodes.
When I said the transitions reminded me of Crystal Key - I mean the one forward click gliding you along and around corners with no further action.
I agree - it's like being in a movie (which worked for me... )
I'm off to check if my eyebrows need plucking!

I really liked the game - better said, I wanted to like it - but it disappointed me. The story, setting and characters really appealed to me (they're very unconventional also) but there's minimal advancement in the story and it doesn't give you a sense of achievement. I'm also looking forward to the next instalment but this one was a terribly weak product.

Och aye - yer right there, Jimmy! (Groundskeeper Willie accent ON)
I always say Scots don't use the 'Och Aye' expression - but I use it all the time without realising it!
I think our Colonial Cousins should watch Jeeves and Wooster - What Ho and simply pipping!

Status : Offline | I am also looking forward to the next episode Rael and Medicro. That's a good image Medicro - "a luxury sized demo". I think it is an interesting use of FMV to blend the actors so completely with the rendered backgrounds. Last time I encountered that was Dark Side of the Moon. I believe that the developers at Moloto meant it to be just an introduction to the gameworld. Michi Lantz, the director and producer, has given many interviews talking about the future releases and how the next episode will be MUCH longer and more involved. I hope so. (Dimi has a lengthy review in December's Inventory. Thanks Dimi.
Still adventuring after all these years!
Patiently awaiting The Last Crown: Haunting of Hallowed Isle, and Bracken Tor...
... and Asylum if it's not tooooo scary...

I'm glad to hear that. It's got the potential to be the sort of game I usually love.
Michi Lantz sent me a very nice e-mail explaining how I could fix my running problems with the gaem - I hadn't realised he was the director.
Love your wee avatar - I used to have a westie....
